A. You can pick one player from group A and swap him from his last season at KU with one from Hunter, Kevin, Furphy, Dajuan or KJ.
If you pick this, which player would you take and which player would you swap him for?

Or B. You can pick two players from group B and swap him from his last season at KU with one from Elmarko, Timberlake, Braun, McDowell.

swapping out a freshmen furphy for a senior ochai is silly. and shouldn't be allowed. not fair to freshman furphy.

Ochai had a better career.

For 1 singular season I am taking McLemore. He was a better athlete and had a higher ceiling as a scorer, especially catch and shoot. I know the stats Ochai's senior year are better than McLemore's stats. But I am taking McLemore.

There is a reason one was drafted #7 and one was drafted #30.

I really think that makes the defensive issues disappear. You still have the interior scoring. You don't have a hole every team learns to exploit.

Sure, shooting is still a problem. But you can't win if you have a defensive issue that can be exploited over and over and over.

to be clear, i’m not sure i necessarily disagree with the swap

but, let’s not forget that Dok’s free-throwing was absolutely exploitable…to the point Self wasn’t willing to have him on the court at the end of some games

Yeah, I was wondering which one was drafted 30th.
My guess is our stat guy from Illinois not named Gutter went to Wikipedia to check when Och was drafted and saw this (see below) which is humorous because his current team is NOT Utah (it even says lower down it is Toronto) and if deleteduser looked further down he would notice it says "NBA draft: 2022 (Round: 1 / Pick: 14)"
