Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Slob has a negative connotation and is generally fairly subjective and judgmental.KUTradition wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 9:23 amlazy vs slob, imoTDub wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 9:22 amNBA Zion?KUTradition wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 9:17 am i don’t think you can play high level D1 ball and be a slob

Fat is fat, albeit sometimes subjective if you are also fat.
Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
I think the Wolfpack's run ends vs Purdue ( how do they stop Edey ? ) though there is the whole Purdue getting knocked out by double digit seeds for 3 tourneys in a row angle.

I’m in the gotta root for Edey crowd.
And as fans of a program that often gets a 1 seed…would we be alright losing in first round as a 1 if it meant going to FF the next season? I know the sample size is 2, but so far that’s what it has meant…but in a vacuum would this be a good thing?

purdue-uconn is the proper ending to this season.

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
purdue might be the better matchup for improving the odds of a uconn loss…which would be the only reason i’m pulling for them

I am for NC State or UConn, in that order. Not an Edey fan.
Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
I am full Wolfpack.
I hope they continue to shock America.
Let em upset Edey and Purdue and then, probably as 10+ point dogs, take out Uconn.

i’m more of an Edey fan after hearing his comments about tenn and barnes. sounded like purdue may not have been his top choice of schools, but so many other programs looked over him and didn’t think he had enough potential

this isn’t a shot a illy, necessarily, but as a Kansas fan i find it odd to root for other historic programs to win more titles
i don’t care how good they are

Kentucky and Duke (and UCLA but lol) are the only ones I root against to win titles. Other than them, if it’s not KU, I root for good basketball and humans (from what we know) winning.KUTradition wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 9:54 am this isn’t a shot a illy, necessarily, but as a Kansas fan i find it odd to root for other historic programs to win more titles

in a non-tourney game, sure…maybe even an early-round game against misery or some such shit, but i don’t care to see nova, indiana, uconn, or any of the other blue bloods win another ‘ship
might be irrational, but don’t care
