If Elmarko and McDowell are starting then KU is screwed and would be a much lower seed in the tourney than a 4. That roster has one reliable scorer.

We will never know.

Based on his comments. And how long after the speculation this post came, and the fact several teammates reposted it and have made comments about it, I feel comfortable assuming it was considered for one reason or another.

My guess right now Passmore ahead of McDowell.

Not sure why you would think that? Passmore looks really really raw. Good athlete with good upside, but I don't expect him to be good at all at the beginning of his freshman year. Also his shot is a work in progress still

That's my take on it too. I don't think KJ had any thought of leaving. He just made one little "idk" type response when he was being interviewed directly after the Gonzaga loss while emotional, and the internet got carried away with an out of context "idk"

It's the same reporter who reported the Elmarko comments. He's been reaching out to the players asking it would appear.
