Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Ugh.
Edey a cheat code.

You gotta get Burns and Horne a touch on every offensive possession.
The other Wolfpack players just can’t.

I'm laughing that people probably think/know Purdue is going to win the game but these exchanged baskets right now are making people who bet the line - sweat. Myself included - but to a much lesser degree than most people who wagered on the game.

Bummer.
Purdue was strong defensively.

I hate the charge call in college ball. There’s no reason that was a block when other times same play is a charge.

Yeah, I um don’t like them at all.KUTradition wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 6:42 pmDeletedUser wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 6:40 pmI get it. But Hurley and their players are so likeable.

These refs seem intent on being a factor here. Shame.

Pretty good game here, looks like I’m the only one watching…

Tons of motion and great spacing. Really good stuff.
Also these refs are turrible.

Bama goes 8/11 from 3 and is still losing.
Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
See comment above. UC shot more 3s but somehow were awarded 10 more FTs? Lot of questionable calls both ways, but 7 more freebies the difference IMo.

UConn is so good
Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
If UConn brings their B game or better they’ll handle Purdue tomorrow.
If they bring their A game Purdue looses by 15 plus.

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
I don't have too much of an argument beyond that two of those seasons where they won the tournament they were absolutely not the best team in the nation. But even then, if they win tomorrow they'll still have 4 titles in the new age where they can reasonably say they were the best and won it all.
I'll throw in one other argument.
UConn has not been consistently good in those 30 years mentioned.
They've missed the NCAA tournament a good amount, accepting NIT bids.
They've also straight up missed post seasons ( not just NCAA but NIT as well ) with .500 or worse records.
To me, a greater feat ( and I know most won't agree but I relate that to not understanding the math ) is winning a top 3 conference 14 times in a row. Would I rather have six titles? Probably. The BWW Chad's absolutely would. But the greater feat is doing that consecutively.
