I think Drew will actually consider turning it down. Which is crazy to think about. It'll be hard to pass up though.

I mean, just the fact that they are considering him is a victory lap. But Kentucky might go with someone else, or he might choose not toOverlander wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 10:56 pmPremature Victory Laprandylahey wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 10:26 pmScott. Drew. If I'm him, I would. He's beloved at baylor, and always will be.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2024 9:03 am I think Drew will actually consider turning it down. Which is crazy to think about. It'll be hard to pass up though.
Someone could take the Kentucky job, and have four 30 win elite 8 seasons in a row, and be looked at as a failure and talked about like they are on the hot seat.

who would be a good fit.
Re: Calapari to Arkansas?
I think Oats would have been a better fit but I don't think he's an option.
If Hurley, Oats, Donovan are out, Drew makes sense I guess, but I think Bruce Pearl is a better fit.

i hear you. i don't want to lose drew to the sec either.
Re: Calapari to Arkansas?
I don't want to loose Drew because I enjoy watching his exasperation when things start to inevitably go south for him.

Demarcus cousins threw rajon rondo's name out there.
Zero coaching experience. But has been a player coach for a long time and one of the best. He could have a bright bright future as a coach if he pursued it, but head coach at Kentucky would be a ridiculous starting spot

Yea.
Not to mention being the coach in a smallish town in a state that hardly even knows what hoops is, is a little different than being at a blue blood in a state that hardly knows anything beyond hoops
