The Lake Oswego Police Department said the assault happened on Oct. 3, 2021 and was reported that same day.

"Baseless"? No.
"With both evidence"? I assume you mean without evidence. If so, No.
The police helped her with a victim's advocate, then collected evidence and started the investigation. Therefore, it was not "baseless" and there was "evidence". Right? Or am I wrong. You tell me.
