Just signed my daughter up for a Juniors Day event on Friday, March 6th to do a tour of KU. Looking for hotel recommendations for a hotel on or close to campus. The tour starts at 8 in the morning so I'd prefer something very close to campus.

The Oread is the only hotel I know of. Any others I can look into? Thanks in advance?

How did this turn out?

She is finishing up her junior year at KU and has enjoyed every bit of it! KU has been a great fit for her. And to make it better, her great experience has brainwashed my 10 year old who now fully plans to attend KU as well.

If she goes there, I may very well tag along and relocate to Lawrence for a while. Especially of my oldest ends up around KC. I can work from anywhere now. I only have so many years left on earth.

Thanks for bumping this. It put a needed smile on my face tonight.
