Dajuan was the Brady Morningstar of 2022. He played good defense and helped the offense flow. Role players are needed and sometimes fit better than a superior player

I'm not saying Remy's big plays weren't essential, they absolutely were. He was huge. But there seems to be a narrative of "things were going bad and Remy saved us" that just isn't accurate.
As a team we were +18 the 2nd half. Soooo...
Soooo what?

Remys role and impact in the title game was similar to another dude off the bench in our other Self title win.

Sherron made huge plays and we likely would not have won without him but there were several other players more important to that win including the dude who sent us to OT.

We cheer for Jayhawks around here. Or at least we used to.

Yes. I think I'll take experience over potential on that one.

Same. And with DH and Elmarko still there, and KU likely to land a top rated PG for 2025, I think the path to major playing time for Philon was going to be a difficult his first 2 years.

Portal deadline has passed. Elmarko Jamari and Clemence survive.

I like that. Teams need multi year guys.

Agreed, nice to see some guys be patient and willing to put in the work. Hopefully they will have good offseason workouts and come back better prepared to contribute to a natty.

It's nice after the mass exodus we had last year. Maybe this thing is going to go in cycles.

Florida's Riley Kugel is officially NOT going to be playing for KU next season. One more open scholarship to fill now.

What we need this year are improvements...
Juan - make layups and runners. Too many missed bunnies.
KJ - rebound!
Hunter - defend like he did in December and January. If he can't, Bill needs to change the way they defend P&R.

Storr - attack the basket, help on the glass, defend. Shoot open 3s.
Griffen - be able to hit threes when you don't have the ultimate green light
Mayo - be efficient and score without having to be The Guy

Everyone else - hustle, defend, play within your abilities

Maybe Hunter can show up next year with some senior-Dok-like development.

Suddenly look lighter on his feet and such, even if just a tad

Maybe like Mitch developed over his 12 years as a Jayhawk...
