Senior KJ
Re: Senior KJ
For real, we’ve had guys show up as seniors and show a surprising leap in development.
I think KJ just might be capable.
I could see more looks for him too, especially early noncon, feeding him angles to attack.

Re: Senior KJ
We've seen a jump in KJs abilities every single off season he's been here. He will be better next year than he was this year.
Re: Senior KJ
As MICH says, seniors are the best.
Seeing how KJ and Dajuan do will keep me interested.

I mean, Dajuan might do it too.
Here’s to the sixth year being the charm

Re: Senior KJ
Probably won't see a jump on KJs game unless he adds a jumpshot. If he somehow does, he turns into an unbelievably good college forward

Re: Senior KJ
If we see a big jump in someone's game next year, it's elmarko. And I think we see it
Re: Senior KJ
I'm wondering if KJ can be good enough in PnR and low/mid post feeds and angles off the bounce to be the featured option on offense for us.
At least until the other guys get up to speed, and/or opposing Ds figure us out.
It's a look opposing Ds won't necessarily expect. And, the featured option it's what we tend to do for seniors.
But think against Cincy in the B12 tourney. Dood was our entire offense, just getting fed from 10 feet out and making a hard move at the rim.
If he CAN develop, yea rebounding! And a J, but that's asking an awful lot.
More realistically, maybe better handles? At least enough to take other college 4s off the bounce...run some shit that gets him angles where he can take one or two dribbles past his man and downhill...maybe? Sounds silly but still prob more likely than a J.

I'd say that second 2025 national title will be the charm, as Dajuan plays the last 8 minutes of crunch time and is raining down stepback 3s for us.
for real tho, hopefully there is no "was," and Dajuan still has room for individual development. I think it was said in another thread, but improve the bunnies. Make more layups and runners.
Heck, take more layups and runners too. And with conviction! It kinda drives me nuts how many of Dajuan's layups and runners look like he's hesitant and not sure he's even gonna take the shot until it's halfway outta his hands anyway, but I shouldn't beat that dead horse, I know.
