I think any team that's a contender should consider it if all it costs is a 2nd round pick. First round is a little more of a gamble imo.

For Philly (or someone) it might be worth it. If you are drafting late 1st round and think you'd have a realistic shot at signing LeBron.

Philly has the cap space, and on paper teaming up with Maxey and embiid might be LeBron best chance at this point in his career. He'd fit nicely and might be the kind of leader those guys need to play with

I do think Bronny gets a lot of undeserved hate. I see no reason to hate on the kid. He's never done anything remotely bad enough to dislike him. He's humble when he speaks. He does not act like a spoiled and entitled brat.

Is he benefitting draft wise because teams wonder if drafting him equals drafting LeBron for 2-4 years until he retires? Absolutely. Is that his fault? Absolutely not. Should he not take advantage of the added benefit? I see nothing wrong with it. Nobody is forcing anyone to do anything. He's making the best decision for himself.

It's the price you pay for famous parents.

But when it comes to children of famous or powerful people, Bronny is closer to the best of them than the worst of them.

Really, that whole family is quite impressive publicly. Savannah James, Bronny, and Bryce. All classy for the position they are in. Regardless of whatever dumb stuff LeBron has done.

LeBron has, from everything that is publicly accessible, been an upstanding citizen.
He whines a bit ( yes, it's a bit, ya'll aren't being objective here ) more than the average player, has a thing for the dramatic more than the average player and made a really stupid move with his The Decision 10 odd years ago.

People generally dislike him more so because he threatens their favorite player's legacy and can't admit it.

Frankly, if I was a fan of a prime-or-close Bron team (and I'd say he's still close now), I'd sorta want the plan to be to build a team that can comfortably be on or better than the 6-line with Bron only playing about half the games.

There are too many NBA games, and too little offseason downtime for guys who are ALWAYS playing into May/June.

Without value judgment as to a certain someone versus a certain other someone, the days of guys being in clubs or casinos until 3am on road trips are over. The size, athleticism and effort is at insane levels, and absolutely it takes a toll.

A cursory search suggests the average NBA player weight is 215 pounds, and for the power forward specifically is 230, so Lebron should still be one of the biggest doods even at that position.

In other words, he should be the tax man taking everyone else’s lunch money, not the other way around.
