How about this "I'm going to somewhere, anywhere" booking . com commercial?

Thin Kelly Clarkson was hot.
Fat Kelly Clarkson annoys me to no end.
Crazy thought about what you posted.
I was going to respond by asking if you feel that way about most women who went from "thin" to "fat" and then ask you if there have been any fat women in your life that you have loved.

Here is what's crazy, I don't recall having a single fat female close relative (mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin) other than my Aunt Marie. I did love her.
Have I ever loved a fat woman other than Aunt Marie? Maybe at the time I knew them I thought I loved them but looking back - probably not.

Moving on.......

At the moment it annoys me that I have a beautiful view of the sunrise over the lake (Michigan) and I know a year from now there is a decent chance I will no longer have the view because the rent price where I live will be too high for me and I will be "forced" to move in to an apartment that I will prefer NOT to live in over my current apartment.
Call it what you will but the current cost of living sucks for me.
If I knew I was going to die in the next 5 years I would actually be happy. I would retire and live somewhat happily ever after. Problem is if I retire I know I will end up living much longer than 5 years and will/would inevitably end up "trying to make ends meet" in my later years.

Perfect set up for someone to respond that long posts and sob stories annoy them.
You're welcome!

I feel much the same about my retirement prospects and the current economic outlook. It is discouraging. But, hey, it's probably just our imagination, cuz inflation is under control and the economy is the best it's ever been.

I think you are/were addressing JK. If so, yeah - my guess is he had other options.
I would have chosen to be a professional hockey or fottball player if it was a realistic option for me. Instead I chose "finance". You would think that is a pretty good choice - for most people. Wasn't such a good one for me. Should have gone in to the short fat bald old male model industry. I could have made serious $.

I make a good living in the context of reasonable inflation rates.

Those jerks in their big Ram or Ram-like pickups who think they own the road, and lay on their horns whenever they don’t like your driving.

(Beeping your horn inappropriately can see you fined In Australia.)

When it's only 90 but it "feels like 108", and I want to go ride my bike 30 miles.

Electric bikes are multiplying like rabbits! Seems like a great alternative to a car for many people down here.

Even some of the best, most core mountain bikers I know have them to augment their rides.

But, I'm old fashioned, at least so far, and I'm sticking to human power, to try and keep from dying as soon.

Power assist on e-bikes is pretty spot on.
You just apply as much assistance as you need for a vigorous, not torturous, bike ride.

We did an e-bike tour of Boulder in February. The pedal assist most likely saved me from a cardiac event.

Ten things this morning in no particular order.

1. Wanting to eat bacon and hash browns for breakfast and knowing it would not be good for me health wise.

2. Realizing I should clean my bathroom over the weekend and my not looking forward to it.

3. People who don't respond to text messages and emails in a timely manner.

4. My neighbor's obnoxious dog.

5. Having too many things to think about in regards to what I need to remember to bring with me to work. Such as keys, key card, wallet, computer, phones, watch, briefcase, food, a check I need to deposit, a hat, ear buds/headphones, extra band-aid for my foot (blister/s), etc.

6. People who walk in the middle (not one side or the other) of sidewalks and are oblivious to the world around them.

7. Having to go to work (my office) and sit inside for most of 10 hours on a beautiful sunny day.

8. The abundance of different languages and those languages that are nothing like English and don't use "English" letters. (I am dealing with printers across the world and it's been a big challenge for me).

9. Food that "expires"/goes stale/spoils/rots.

10. Having a list this morning of 10 things that annoy me.

i’ll one-up you…people who STOP in the middle of the sidewalk (or aisle), forcing everyone else to alter their paths
