My guess is you have them for more $ than I have Bolivia. Therefore, I hope you win.
GOD FORBID they win by a goal and fuck both of us.

Oh wow Brazil stuck it in their own ass.
There’s a chance they tie with Paraguay and loose to Colombia.

Watching the end of this. Mercy is probably only 2/3rd full. Maybe not even.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2024 12:39 pmGotcha! Makes sense. Thanks for the response!pdub wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2024 12:21 pmProbably because they don't expect Peru to be that hot a ticket...and Mercy is just a way better stadium for soccer if you can't get over 50k fans ( i'd argue even if you could get over 50k fans ).RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2024 10:21 am Can someone tell me why Copa America is being played at Children's Mercy Park and not Arrowhead?
USA v Uruguay will be at Arrowhead.

Went to game last night. Was probably 10:1 Peru:Canada fan. I had fun speaking broken spanish with a bunch of people around me.
Peruvian women > Canadian Women (shocker to most, I'm sure).
It was ridiculously hot. 108 index in the sun. Sitting on West side, in the shade, it was still gross. Very few non-team fans (locals) at the game.
11970 was posted attendance at the stadium. Game was @1700 local on a Tuesday. People have/do defend the Royals' attendance based on weeknights, high school football nights, church sunday. KC always has a reason for bad attendance. I only went bc I found myself @legends at 1530 and looked at ticket prices and they were quite favorable. Had me some five guys and watched the match.
Was entertaining. Peru should have gotten red in 1st half for player headbutting Canadian player but didn't. Ref let way too many fouls go early in the game and it built to a full-on display of South American brutality in the match. I still dislike the Paraguaian club team at KU from my rememberances playing them 30+ years ago. Insansely physical and dirty.

Oh yeah. I'm 5'11" and felt tall for one of the first times in my life! Peruvians are quite diminutive on the whole.

I don’t necessarily disagree but they haven’t.
