Gutter's 5 fairly quick questions of the day - 6/25
1. If money wasn't a factor and you could/can be a dual citizen of the USA and another country - and you could live in that other country for anywhere between 1 day and 5 months a year, what other country would you choose?
2. If you had to guess, ON AVERAGE, how many times a day do you think you have farted during the past 3 years?
3. ALL factors included, name your favorite sport/s team other than a basketball team, to watch play in person. NOT on TV, in person.
4. Tuesdays and Wednesday days all employees who are in the Chicago area and are not traveling for work, on vacation, or sick, are expected in the office - including our summer interns. That equates to approximately 275 people. Most employees are expected in the office by 9:00am.
The current weather forecast for the Chicagoland area is - scatters, heavy, and severe, thunderstorms between the hours of 7:00am and 11:00am.
What percentage of employees will NOT commute/come in to work today?
5. If TODAY you had to pick an age that you will live until, without knowing what your exact financial situation, exact health situation, and the exact world situation will be in the future, what age would you choose?

New President - New Gutter. I am going to pledge my allegiance to Donald J. Trump and for the next 4 years I am going to be an even bigger asshole than I already am.

2) Now I will have to count them, 6? I dunno.
3) St. Paul Saints are supposed to be fun. I need to take Mrs. 99 to a ballgame.
4) Break up with her
5) I dunno, 90?

1. Germany. I know enough of the language to get by, it's centrally located to a number of European locales, I could probably get work there and it has great beer.
2. 9
3. US Men's National Team
4. 30%
5. 85

1. Italy
2. It's probably been between 2 and 1003 but I'll go with 9 on average.
3. Bears (on a decent day - or indoors). Cubs close 2nd on a nice not too warm day/evening.
4. 23%
5. I'm fine with 58 if I go/went in my sleep.

1. Considering how fondly one poster here and/or my dad speaks of it…Michigan
2. I prob average double digit farts just after lunch. I’ve met with doctors about my shitty gut health, no pun intended, but they seem to maintain if I can mostly treat it with pepto and kombucha then that’s doing well enough
3. Chiefs. Has no one said Chiefs yet?
4. Including summer interns…but I thought gutter had an actual job by now?
5. I try to think of this more qualitatively, like the Buddhists do. “Who cares whether you live 100 years or 1 year? The important part is, you lived.” But I think we all know the answer is actually 69

To expand on 2…
So Sunday night I made a nice dinner..flat iron steak, gold potatoes, steamed broccoli. While cooking dinner I sipped a can of Boulevard Tank 7 that had been sitting on top of the fridge for a few months until I got it cold last weekend. That night, I woke up with my stomach in knots, spend most of the night in the bathroom, and have been farting robustly ever since.
Do we think it was…
A. The steak
B. The potatoes
C. The broccoli
D. The Tank 7, and if so, did the beer’s age or storage status have an effect
E. Some combo of the above
F. Something else yet
G. Stop kidding yourself ous it’s actually cuz of that hero dose of shrooms you also took but didn’t mention like for real are you still tripping?

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Regarding Chiefs - NFL fans are the worst of all fans and it sucks going to a game and being around some of them. I've had great Chiefs experiences but more often than not there's a group of hammered assholes being obnoxious and/or looking to fight.
I also will add the Sprint Center in here -- i've seen KU fans ( bandwagon Nascar lovin' fans from Independence ) get in fist fights in a fucking B12 quarterfinal. That building is cursed.

1. The UK. I could never tire of it, and they speak English. Plus, if the shit hit the fan, that passport is good all over the place.
2. 6
3. I haven't watched many sports live on a professional level. I would love to see the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympic Games.
4. 25%. Chicago got nearly 1 inch of rain this morning. If those are the only 2 days everyone is required at work, it is clear that everyone is setup to work remotely. Why deal with rush hour commute with severe thunderstorm warnings in the city? Gutter is going to get more work done with fewer distractions today (either in the office or at home).
5. I considered tomorrow as I have enjoyed a hell of a great life and I am not really excited for the next Presidential election. But I do not have a death wish. I am amazed by the simplest of things. I will say 101. Both of my grandmothers lived to be 101.
