Damn! Kimmel and Rodgers is looking like two lovers compared to Stephen A. Smith and Whitlock. Which of those two were on the Island?

Charles Barkley has generated so many great quotes over the years, and now we can add another one to the list after Gayle King asked how he would respond to Aaron Rodgers if he was targeted with conspiracy theories like Jimmy Kimmel was.

Charles Barkley Doesn't Hold Back on Aaron Rodgers
“The Electoral College is DEI for rural white folks.”

I'm not sure that's saying much.
I am extremely confident Rodgers is smarter than the majority of the people who feel he's not smart.
Which makes it even worse. I can feel bad for stupid people; they don't know any better and have no capacity for learning more. When intelligent people choose stupidity it is for a specific, intentional and usually very self-serving reason.

Rodgers is exceptionally "smart," from a cognition and retention standpoint. No doubt whatsoever.

What he's NOT, at least outwardly, is wise, or discerning, or judicious. He has lived in a very very very sealed bubble for at LEAST 20 years now, and that'll warp ya.

The virtues of prudentia/phronesis and sophia are not universally encouraged or rewarded in contemporary society.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
