Very hard for me NOT to think about monkey business whenever we are talking about a leaked Court decision the day prior to the sole 2024 debate, where the subject matter is probably the difference in the election.

Gosh. They have tried to sound reasonable since the 'machine gun kids' decision last week. While shielding Trump as many days as possible

SCOTUS rules that corruption is ok so long as payment comes after (essentially putting themselves up for sale), but they won’t say whether or not the POTUS can legally murder (or have murdered) a political opponent?

Alito even bemoaned, in writing, that the Court avoided deciding because (in effect) it's an election year.
Don't tell me the Court isn't political. Not that - eyes July 3 and November 5 on the calendar - we needed any more proof.

Like any number of other issues the court is or will be dealing with in the near future, a Trump DOJ will have very different motivations than the Biden DOJ does. So, much like Judge Cannon, why decide anything now, when you can wait?

Which means the ONLY protection that remains, is the ballot box. And that protection might become a nullity next January.
The MICHs of the world can joke about protest votes and gas prices and what the fuck ever until the cows come home.
No person who genuinely loves America can vote for anyone but Biden this November. Any other vote is a vote for a king.
