McCullar out for summer league.

Rehabbing his knee.

I’d say still rehabbing his knee, but apparently he had it worked on this offseason

He's under a ridiculous amount of pressure. I don't feel sorry for the kid, but I certainly don't get any joy from seeing him struggle.

i get joy from hearing that he’s struggling

we can agree to disagree, but imo he’s taken spots/opportunities (likely at all levels) from guys who have been as or more deserving just because of who his dad is

it seems to have finally caught up to him

Absolutely. But, that's still not exactly "his" fault. What is he supposed to do? Say "no thanks" to the Lakers when they draft him to keep LeBron?

Nobody hates Giannis brothers this much, and the one on the bucks may be the only player in the NBA who is worse than Bronny.

he’s at least partly to blame, imo

I definitely think PR wise, he should have acknowledged that being LeBron's son was why he was drafted and then say something like "hopefully through hardwork and development over time I can prove to myself and others that I deserve to be here".

Instead, they tried to lie to us and pretend it was all earned. Which, LOL.

6 starts in 25 games and almost 20min per game isn't a bench warmer. He also almost died right before the season, so there's that.

But carry on.

Also, he was picked 55th.

The last 10 55th picks are:

Bronny
Wong
Santos
Wiggins (Aaron)
Scrubb
Guy
Kulboka
Williams-Goss
Paige
Lalanne

Usually the 55th pick sucks (patty mills is the best 55th pick in NBA history iirc). So it's not exactly like it mattered who they picked. The player was likely to suck.

you're kidding yourself if you think Bronny is worthy of a spot on any NBA roster.

Worthy compared to what though?

Is he one of the 15 worst players in the NBA? Absolutely.

My point is that 55th picks usually don't last long regardless. And even more rare that they turn out to be quality NBA players.

So the opportunity cost of drafting him instead of the guys drafted after him or not drafted at all is relatively non existent.

For instance, is McCullar better at basketball currently than Bronny? Absolutely. Are either going to be in the NBA in 5 years? Probably not.

I would go as far to say that I would put my money on the #56 pick against LeBron v2.0.

And I have no freaking clue who that person is.

(Gutter should be dropping that info in 3,2,1….)
