You need a new schtick.
Imagine a life so devoid of accomplishments that you feel the need to lie about working at McDonald’s.

Why do I get the feeling you may compensate your own internal insecurities about your intelligence by expressing externally that you are smart and other people are "imbeciles"?
I believe if you were to take a little time to learn more about the woman other than she does a piss poor job of verbally expressing herself and she didn't pass the bar exam in California the first time she took it, and you didn't simply judge a book by its cover, I have a feeling you just might come to the realization she's really not an "imbecile". That's if I were to give you credit for being as sane and intelligent as you claim to be.

Re: 2024
When the "white Christian's way of life" becomes/is 100% hypocritical bullshit EXCLUSION instead of inclusion, then by all means I support a "war" against it. Not a violent war in which people die because of it. A war to address it in a manner in which we would unite as a country and address and actually start to try and do something about the issues ALL sides face and do it in a respectful united manner.
That's the problem and what I have been saying for long before I started posting on KU boards. That just isn't going to happen and is a pipe dream. Our civil war doomsday clock is ticking closer and closer to disaster - and BOTH/(All?) sides of the inevitable war suck.
Let me ask you this. Trump dies last Saturday, who do you think acts out and causes all hell to break loose? I'll give you a hint, it's NOT the people who acted out and caused all hell to break loose when George Floyd was killed. It's the people who Trump is encouraging to "fight fight fight" and who went ape shit ridiculing those people who acted out after the George Floyd death. Those "white Christian's" becoming just as bad if not worse than those "Godless Black" people they found so much fault in/with.
I'm 100% in support of people wanting good things for themselves and this country, and fully realize those things mean different things to different people based on needs and beliefs, but as I say snidely too often, We are all Americans and on the same team. Yeah, sure. Ha ha.
To me, "Fuck that!" and "Fuck You!" are really what core MAGA and the opposition to the core MAGA movements translate/s to.
Sad.

Destroying ourselves by saving the country from the “prosperity” Brandon has wrought? It would be laughable were it not so sad.

Re: 2024
I mentioned on the RNC thread that yesterday I had a lengthy conversation with a close relative of a very well known former politician.
I am very hesitant to say and share this because I have a need to be on team Dems but one of the things we briefly discussed was the election. He and I reminisced in regards to what I (and probably he - and probably many if not most people) believed and shared 8 to 10 years ago, that the writing was on the wall that the Dems might (and/or would) be where they are today, has come to complete fruition.
So.... Why did they let it happen? I have different theories but not a definitive answer. I'm not sure there is one.

Did you also happen to discuss how the Republican Party would come to where they are today and nominate someone who has been convicted of sexual assault to be their presidential candidate?RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 7:18 am I mentioned on the RNC thread that yesterday I had a lengthy conversation with a close relative of a very well known former politician.

I said the same thing to him that I said on here recently. This is not my father's Republican Party - and he basically said the Trump Republican Party is pretty much the Republican Party in name only.
I have posted this before in reference to our current political state and feel it's worthy of being posted again right now.

And China? China isn't pushing the US around. That's just corny scare language.
