some people, many people, great people...say it's one of the most amazing feats they've seen. How?..How do you do that, they say. It's incredible, these are...the best, talented, smart people and they tell me, many of them, tell me, TDub, this...this is just an incredible thing you're doing here....and what you've done also with the dinosaurs....have we talked about dinosaurs? I mean, what would you do if a dinosaur showed up and you were eating a cheeseburger, what if he asks for youre cheeseburger? Incredible things...its just a gift its what they say.

So my BUD and I, over the last six months, have heard these intermittent sounds, multiple octaves, like a complete random analog dial tone, outside.

Today I finally investigated. It’s coming from our neighbors house. It’s fairly loud.

Any ideas what it could be?
Pest control?
Security?

My suggestion is.... Knock on your neighbor's door and ask them what's up.

Just last night I pinpointed it to the neighbors house...and they weren't home.
So my next step is to determine whether it happens when they are home or not ( haven't been paying attention ).

We are friendly with them so if I see them around i'll just ask.

When I got called for jury duty when I lived in Orlando, the waiting area for prospective jurors was huge and had comfortable chairs, and you could spread out. Here, even tho the cost of living is higher, ~ 150-200 of us are packed into a room with mundane, uncomfortable chairs in rows, elbow to elbow. That's more humanity than I care for, these days.

It's "criminal trial" day. Some days are civil trial and others are criminal trial days, apparently. So, if we do get called, it will be the government charging someone with a violation of the law, not a plaintiff suing a co. or something similar. Unfortunately, I'd guess my chances of being excused are more likely if it's a civil trial, something involving medical malpractice, or someone suing a pharmaceutical co. etc., than a criminal trial.

Ok, this is fucking bizarre.
Just now I was thinking about work and I have to speak with a co-worker who has a very unusual first name. She's the only person I know who has the name. As I was thinking about my upcoming conversation with her, I went on Twitter/X and there was a notification. A different woman with the same name is "following" me.
God damn it! Musk is controlling my brain!
