I chose to donate $10 earlier today because I am excited that the Dems no longer have Joe Biden on the ticket. I find it exciting to have someone younger win the nomination so that I don't have to listen to morans talk about how old Joe Biden is while supporting what is now the oldest nominee for President in US history in Trump.

In that instance, was she asked to describe the conflict in layman's terms?
Simple yes or no will suffice.
What does it say about a person when they interpret "layman's terms" to mean "as if they were a special needs first grader"?
I have a cousin that I consider to be one of my smartest cousins. He has multiple graduate degrees from the US Naval Academy. He tried to convince me that masks don't work because if you can smell a fart with a mask on then that mask is not able to filter out covid.

Some people have proven that they need to be talked to like first graders.

After being dismissed from my civic duty to serve on a jury early, I took the opportunity to go by my county Democratic headquarters to pick up some more post cards to fill out and address, to add to the ~ 200 I've already filled out and addressed. The place was buzzing and I asked the party official there how people seemed to be reacting to Biden passing the torch to Harris and she said the response in terms of phone calls and emails from people wanting to volunteer and donations has been overwhelming.

Yay!

Thanks, Joe.

Thanks, Kamala!

Better chance I get elected President in 2028 than that happening.
Let's be real. The Dems are not too "excited" about Harris. They would prefer a cognizant Biden.
Harris is about as exciting as the whatever percent she polled at before she dropped out in 2020. Actually, 2019. MAYBE slightly more but definitely not a whole lot more.
Probably the best thing the Dems could do is replace her (more so - not have "chosen" her) but with who/m? Then if they were to replace her, if I am not mistaken, they lose a shitload of money.
Not a great situation.

It was a dumb answer to a dumb question the likes of which people like Harris have to answer all the time. Breaking news, some members of the media are lazy or bad at their job and ask dumb questions.

To make any more of it than that is either be accidentally stupid or deliberately dishonest.

A retort that one would expect from a person with a two-digit IQ. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

Define intelligent. Are we taking about an IQ score?

I think he is well above average, maybe 115-120 range. Definitely not the most intelligent POTUS ever, but higher than Giggles, whom I would put at 95-100.

The success he has achieved in life and his ability to manage situations. Some of it is a hunch based on years of scoring tests.
