A few Kamala thoughts.

1 - I underestimated the fervor that would follow this switch. That is probably because I am a high-information voter who has talked himself (not, in my opinion, unjustifiably!) into Joe’s record, and a Never Trumper who would not even casually entertain NOT voting for Joe (if the candidate).

2 - I suspect I have dramatically underestimated just how bad this FUCKS the R ticket. They’re not going to be able to keep their worst 5% from speaking very disgustingly for the rest. They’ve lost their only effective argument (and now in fact it’s turned right back on them). They’re pot-committed to a fraudulent VP candidate who expands the base by zero and whose liabilities (along with so many of Trump’s) are particularly visible in contrast with a strong black woman.

3 - Sometimes we make things so much more complicated than they need to be. Emphasis added.
