Chiefs Offseason 2024
Re: Chiefs Offseason 2024
I would.
He's important to our offense.
If we were good with Tyreek on our squad who likely choked and punched a pregnant woman in the stomach and possibly broke his sons arm, certainly we can be OK with a guy who just said some stupid things.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
Re: Chiefs Offseason 2024
Oh no doubt we are still awesome because we have Mahomes and Andy…but we got Trent McDuffie because we traded Hill ( and had the opportunity at Pickens but drafted Skyy instead - aaand also had a pick we used to trade up to get another troublemaker, Rashee ).
If you could promise me we would get another All Pro caliber player ( on a rookie salary ) at a position somewhere else ( somewhere else besides punter ) in a swap with Butker, ok, I’m in.

Might be splitting hairs, but Worthy isn't hurt.
He has strep throat, so he should be back soon - also probably don't want him spreading it to the team.

Re: Chiefs Offseason 2024
I just thought of something. I feel the Bears have a better WR trio than the Chiefs. I still expect Mahomes to have a better season than Williams.
Of course the Chiefs have the better TE tandem and OL but it puts things in perspective for me.
I used to say show me a HOF QB and I'll show you a HOF WR and vice versa. I think it's more accurate to say show me a HOF QB and I will show you a HOF TE and OL (at least one Lineman) and vice versa.
I'm going to go for a bike ride now but later today I am going to see how motivated I am to look up how accurate my HOF QB/WR/TE/OL theory is.

Yeah, I admit my first thought was.... Do these/those idiots realize the scheduled kickoff time is 4:25pm local time and her concert probably starts around 7:00pm - meaning she MIGHT be able to catch the first half of the game - at most.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2024 8:15 pm Conspiracy....?

Then me being me, I went and looked at her concert schedule and she has that day/night off from her tour.
"Conspiracy" or not, the NFL does not need Taylor Swift to be in Buffalo on November 17th to "sell" the game. Assuming Kelce and Swift are still together, they will probably have the extra bonus.
P.S. I am calling bullshit!

Taylor Swift could schedule a stop at every game city the Chiefs play. Today. Silly stuff.

Re: Chiefs Offseason 2024
I don’t think this is true.
I believe it’s on NBC AND Peacock.
There is an Amazon Prime exclusive this season and a Netflix game I think on Xmas. I don’t get Netflix but will likely be in Kansas and my rents do.
It all sucks.

I've checked NBC and Prime Thursday night, Sept. 5th, and they don't appear to be showing the game, only Peacock. That jibes with what you see online if you inquire using the Google machine.
Peacock is the only way to watch the 3, three-week long European cycling races, the Tour de France, Giro Italia, and the Vuelta Espana in the US., so I already have it. In fact I have the basic and the Plus, or whatever it's called, to be free of the commercials. So, it probably costs me ~ $13/month, altho I think they just increased it by $2. It doesn't matter, I'd pay a lot more than I do to be able to watch the various tours. A race that's > 100 miles long every day (but 2) for 3 weeks? The Who had a word for that:
I'd gladly lose me to find you
I'd gladly give up all I have
To find you, I'd suffer anything and be glad
I'll pay any price just to get you
I'd work all my life, and I will
To win you, I'd stand naked, stoned and stabbed
I call that a _______
