But now, he’s again appealing to his, and his base’s, worst instincts.
Turns out that it’s WAY more politically acceptable to be ageist than racist and sexist. And it’s also true that, for as much as Biden was the man for the moment in 2020, he isn’t in 2024.

I got a first hand demonstration of the weird behavior of a narcissist last weekend. My mom started hospice and the family came to see her. Niece and nephew from Chicago and niece from Nashville all fly in to St Louis. My brother and his malignant drunken narcissistic gf decide they will come too. My brother hasn't seen his kids in a couple of years because they don't want to be around the gf and the drunken dramatic chaos that comes with her. Brother doesn't tell his own kids he is coming, cuz maybe they will refuse to see him? My sisters let the kids know dad is coming and make it known to brother and gf, that gf is not welcome in mom's facility. They don't want the chaos, leave that shit at the door.

So gf drives up and drops my brother off in a huff and leaves to go hang out at the mall until he is done with visit. 10 minutes later my brother gets a text and says "oh no". His son leans in and reads the text. gf says, "I was in a bad accident and may have totaled the car." Brother spends the next 45 minutes frantically texting with gf. Pays no attention to his mom or his kids who he hasn't seen in two years. When my sister leaves she drives around the mall hoping to see gf in handcuffs heading off for a DUI. No sign of an accident or police. After a couple of hours everyone else is leaving the facility. As my nephew is leaving he sees gf drive by in her car with a small dent in hood coming to facility. Not one spoke about the bs, it was just understood that she wanted attention and if she couldn't create chaos in the room with everyone in the audience, she would do it outside and interject by text. My brother seems to be addicted to the "thrill" of the chaos.

Attention; good kind or bad kind, it doesn't matter. The attention is what they crave.

WashPo:

…Four years ago, Stallings and a group of friends joined protests in Minneapolis over the police murder of George Floyd. A SWAT team in an unmarked van fired a nonlethal projectile that hit Stallings in the chest, and Stallings, an Army veteran, returned fire from a legally permitted pistol. Officers beat him, breaking his eye socket, and gave accounts of the encounter that were inconsistent with video recordings. He was eventually acquitted of attempted murder of an officer and received a $1.5 million civil rights settlement from the city, while the officer who beat him pleaded guilty to assault — but not before Stallings was vilified online.

Now, that stigma resurfaced in a post from an official Trump campaign account on the social media account X, which shows a mug shot of Stallings, who is Black, alongside a photo of Harris, who is Black and Indian American. The campaign accused Harris of raising “money to bail Stallings out of jail” because she promoted a bail fund that helped him. The post failed to mention that Stallings was acquitted.

“The willingness to lie and use smear tactics to drum up political support by a potential president is not becoming of what this country represents,” Stallings said in an interview. “I’m a person who chooses to believe and keep hoping we can truly strive to be what we say America is.”

The campaign’s post about Stallings was one in a string of six similar messages that misleadingly accused Harris of helping to free people the Trump campaign described as dangerous criminals. What ties Harris to their cases is a tweet she sent in June 2020, when she was a senator, before becoming Joe Biden’s running mate, that encouraged people to donate to a bail fund benefiting participants in the George Floyd protests. Some of the cases the Trump campaign highlighted resulted in convictions and guilty pleas, including a charge of unintentional murder, and others in dismissals.…

And now the federal trial for election interference can begin again! It is back in the hands of Judge Tanya Chutkan, she who has handed down the meanest sentences to the J6 criminals. VERY UNFAIR!

Is she Afro-Jamaican or is she Indo-Jamaican? This is the question the weird convicted felon will likely want to ask. Someone should look into this.

Whatever the answer, it is likely very UNFAIR that she should be the one to oversee this case. How long before he calls her "nasty"?

Wut? Does this sound likely to anyone? I amp sure trumpty dumpty would want his "facts" verified, especially the part about Kampala suddenly changing to black.
Moments before former President Trump took the stage at the National Association of Black Journalists annual convention in Chicago on Wednesday, the organization's president was called back to address an issue.

Why it matters: Trump did not want to be fact-checked live and was refusing to go on stage, NABJ president Ken Lemon told Axios.

"[Trump's team] said, 'Well, can you not fact check? He's not going to take the stage if you fact-check,'" Lemon said.

The intrigue: The Q&A with the GOP presidential nominee was delayed more than an hour before he eventually joined a panel of Black journalists, including ABC News correspondent Rachel Scott, Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner and Semafor reporter Kadia Goba.

At the time, President Trump blamed the delay on audio problems.

Lemon told Axios, "There were audio problems, but they were resolved very quickly."

"The bigger problem was his threat not to take the stage when he had agreed to go on. He did not want to be fact-checked, but we could not let him on the stage without fact-checking," Lemon said.

Behind the scenes: The stalemate was so prolonged that NABJ leaders were prepared to explain to the audience of nearly 2,000 people why Trump would not appear.

"I was prepared to go on stage to craft a statement, saying he decided not to go on stage because of fact-checking... we couldn't compromise on that.

As Lemon was preparing that statement, Trump walked onto the stage.

The other side: The Trump campaign disputes NABJ's account. Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung told Axios on Friday that they waited "for close to 40 minutes while audio/technical issues were fixed by NABJ."

Audio issues were apparent during the event.

The fact that a completely ordinary Q&A can be this impactful is a scathing indictment of pretty much every single "interviewer" he's been in front of.

Finally some straight talk by a definitely not weird member of the cult.
A host on Mike Lindell's television network called on Vice President Kamala Harris to take a DNA test to prove a demonic spirit wasn't prompting her to say she was Black.

During his daily "Let's Talk About It" program on Lindell TV, host Will Johnson defended former President Donald Trump's claim that Harris had only recently "happened to turn Black."

Harris' father is Jamaican, and her mother was Indian, making her the first Black and first Asian American vice president.

But Johnson suggested Thursday that Harris was lying about her race and should take a DNA test.

"How about we get Kamala Harris to do a DNA test like him and like Elizabeth Warren?" Johnson said. "Then we'll put it to rest. She comes back, and she's a little bit more Black than Elizabeth Warren is Indian, then we'll, OK, go, she can be Black half the time."

"Why not do that?" he asked. "And then they say we are the weird ones — we're the weird ones because we don't want to go along with the insanity."

Johnson argued that a "demonic spirit" had caused Harris to identify as Black.

"It's because it's a demonic spirit," he opined. "I know a lot of people don't like to hear that, but it's true."

"These people have lost their everlasting mind, and they want us to play along," he added. "I'm not going to, and you're not gonna force me to play along with your insanity. These people have a mental illness that's being controlled by a demonic spirit."
Yes, someone has lost their everlasting minds and are definitely NOT the weird ones.

So if she sinks underwater and drowns, she was black all along. But if she floats, she has a buoyant demonic spirit.

Omarosa Manigault Newman called out Trump during an appearance on CNN’s Laura Coates Live Wednesday night, saying that she distinctly remembered him identifying as Swedish, “because he didn’t want to acknowledge that his father was German and his mother was Irish, and he thought that that would play better to those who were patronizing his businesses.”
