Did you and Plano ever hook up and play? You two are quite comparable in skill level.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

BTL is definitely much better at it than me. I felt like dead weight, and I know coaching my old ass was taxing at best.

Re: Video Games
The one Star Wars game I tried to get into, EA botched so bad I have not given another a go.
Also: I bought a PS5 last week. Started with NCAA football, GTAV (was super cheap) and Gran Turismo 7.
Played GT4 way back when, and remembering why I stopped, it’s hard to put down. And? Now, I want a wheel, which is about it as much sf the OS5 console to begin with lol.
Dumb me. Dumb.

Re: Video Games
I was talking about boring sports while watching the road cycling women’s Olympic race and asked myself if there was a long distance cycling game for PS5 and if so how many people bought it?
Then I looked it up. My god.

Id rather read Fenimore Cooper.

Re: Video Games
One of the Epyx games had a cycling event. And it was ridiculously difficult from what I remember.
That said, summer/winter games were extra fun back before graphics really mattered.
But none too using a pencil/chopsticks to set all-time world records playing track and field in an arcade. Countless quarters stolen from my dad to do so.
No lean necessary on those races.
Also; GT7 is way too fun. Again. And I haven’t bought online play yet. I’m going to DC tomorrow and don’t want to waste a week out of town right after purchasing. Because, I’m pragmatic and stuff.

So o do have NCAA and will be online for anyone that owns and wants to play starting next week. Shoot me a PM.
Not sure if it’s cross-platform, but again, I’m PS5

Re: Video Games
I have seen some things on this but forgot about it. Thanks for getting it back on my mind. I will probably check it out as well. The NCAA football game hasn't held my attention much. Just started the new season of Diablo 4 that just kicked off a few days ago.KUTradition wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 5:47 pm been thinking about getting into something new. this could be dangerous

Re: Video Games
I get a warm feeling in my heart every time I hear twocoach talk about Diablo 4 to know that he has come from disliking it to seemingly very much enjoying it.
Re: Video Games
Most of the things that bugged me about it still bug me but what I like about it is painfully addictive! If they figure out how to fix their janky trading system, it will be even better. You should be able to mark gear in your stash as "available for trade", search for available gear from other users that you want and offer them a trade for it a la the Topps baseball card app. What they have now is a joke.

the controls and gameplay look very much like Assassin’s Creed, which i guess shouldn’t be a surprise since they’re both Ubisoft. i’ve just always been bothered by that style

I could never get into assassin's creed.
My son got the Avatar game recently. It's okay.
