I won't even address LeBron, because there is no reason....

But Ewing ahead of Shaq and Duncan? Any particular reason?

I'd have Duncan pretty high on my list.

MY favorites have a bearing on MY GOATs. GOAT is subjective. What he has accomplished in his career? You have to put LeBron top 5. Right? Top 3? I don't know. Probably?
I 100% accept people who say LeBron is the GOAT - who didn't watch much of Jordan and/or players in the 90s,80s,70s,60s,50s.
MJ is in MY top 3 favorites and top 3 GOAT.
Kobe was probably my second favorite player. I MIGHT put him in my top 5 GOAT - mostly because he was one of my favorites.
Wilt is in my top 5.

Crap, I forgot Duncan!
Edited.

Ewing was a freaking BEAST, when there were a LOT of BIG men.

Shaq should probably be on my list, but no way I can put him above Hakeem, Russell or Wilt...just my opinion.

Hakeem always seems underrated on these lists.

I always forget he's got 2 titles. Not just 1.

LOL

I guess without thinking a ton about it I'd go....

MJ
LeBron

Kareem
Wilt
Russell
Magic
Duncan
Bird
Shaq
Kobe
Hakeem
Steph

It might also be time to start thinking about Jokic being close to making these lists ahead of some of the guys listed. Or at the very least close to coming after Steph. I didn't feel like going to much deeper because I'm sure without looking at stats I'll overlook an old head. I'm sure I've made a list that's slightly different earlier in this thread since I kind of just went off the top of my head.

If thats how you feel, then print it off, roll it up, and shove it up your unusually relaxed sphincter

There is a reason why the USA Mens Basketball Olympic Team is going to win the gold on on 8/10/24.
The 3 most important numbers Kobe wore (8/10/24) and Kobe is God.

This is better but Tim Duncan and Shaq would have been close to Wilt stats good in the 60s. Shaq on offense would have been hilarious to see those dudes try and stop him…Duncan woulda had 15 blocks a game.

Bill Russell below both those guys.

I tried but the list was so bad my printer refused to print it.

If the list is such shit, perhaps load the printer with toilet paper?

I agree about the modern players being better. Which is what makes these all time lists so hard. But they played when they played (for me). Maybe I weight "career" too much, and pure "talent" not enough. If talent, then it's filled with guys from the last 30 years almost exclusively.

That’s a top 10 suggestion.
Unlike Patrick Ewing.

Your list is fine.
I just think Bill wouldn’t be as good as he was if he played when athletes committed to the sport 24/7 and were playing it all over the world.

It’s subjective ( to a point ) how you judge players from other eras.

Totally agree. If half the olds played today they'd be average to trash.

And if you transport the guys today to those old eras, they'd put up crazier numbers than the olds did. Players today have very few weaknesses.
