I just bot my 300th post card stamp to put on the post cards I fill out, address, and send to registered Democrats in my area, to support the candidates and causes I believe in for the August 20 primary election*.

*In a red state, in a notoriously red county**.

**Remember the blond, ménage à trois, Mom's for Liberty, school board member? I'm supporting candidates for that school board, where my granddaughters attend, and candidates for the local hospital board to try and keep Michael Flynn (who lives here too) and the Christo-Fascists from taking the hospital over and privatizing it, while posting anti-vax propaganda on its website. Among others.

I think the hope here is that maybe Russia will have to reallocate to that particular breach, thus creating a potential vulnerability on the front lines in Ukraine, and/or a bargaining chip

Another theory yet is Ukrainian forces may just legit intend an invasion of Russia.

Of course, the risk is high, as the vulnerability may cut the other day, and Ukrainians invading Russia may leave weaknesses in the other direction.

I was just struck by Bragg's response to the Tweet, shaming him for "not mentioning Ukraine" during his concert. I thought it was a great response and it echos things I may have thought at times with regards to activism and getting shit done. It's what draws me towards Walz, he isn't going to save the world as a governor. But he will make sure that every kid who needs an emergency tampon or a meal, gets that little thing. Little things when added up can make a difference for a lot of little people.

But I apologize if this musical interlude interrupts even briefly the serious work of getting to the bottom of who started this war and who shares the blame and how it can be stopped.
