Dumbfuck in charge
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Trump's veiled threats about how tough his military, police, and biker supporters are, is as repugnant as it gets. What the holy fuck? The President of the United States threatening Americans who don't agree with him, that don't fall in line? This was ~ 2 weeks before the 2018 election, while our aggrieved commander in chief was ramping up his hateful, divisive rhetoric constantly. And what was his reaction? He didn't give a damn. What an example for our children. We deserve so much better.
What We Know About the Mail Bombs Sent to Trump Critics
Oct. 25, 2018
A man in Florida was arrested Friday in the wave of mail bombs that have targeted critics of President Trump. The arrest came hours after federal authorities said they had found two more explosive devices: one addressed to Senator Cory Booker, a Democrat from New Jersey, and the other to James R. Clapper Jr., the former director of national intelligence and a commentator on CNN.
Cesar Sayoc Jr., 56, of Aventura, Fla., was taken into custody Friday morning by F.B.I. agents, according to law enforcement officials.
After several packages containing the devices were discovered on Wednesday, law enforcement officials across the country mounted a massive search for the person or persons who had sent them.
On Thursday, three more envelopes were found addressed to former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and the actor Robert De Niro...

Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Was going to post this on social media - Thought better of it. Instead I'll share it with you hand jobs.
The President of the United States actually said this - “So here’s the thing—it’s so terrible what’s happening,” “You know, the left plays a tougher game, it’s very funny. I actually think that the people on the right are tougher, but they don’t play it tougher. Okay? I can tell you I have the support of the police, the support of the military, the support of the Bikers for Trump – I have the tough people, but they don’t play it tough — until they go to a certain point, and then it would be very bad, very bad. But the left plays it cuter and tougher. Like with all the nonsense that they do in Congress … with all this invest[igations]—that’s all they want to do is –you know, they do things that are nasty. Republicans never played this.”
My response - The only thing more frightening is that there are people who are actually getting off on this. SICK people. Some of those people happen to be be my friends.
Do you not get it? In essence what Trump is saying (dare I say "proposing"?) is that eventually there is a chance some of my friends may (will?) kill some of my other friends simply because Donald Trump is a garbage human being who encourages division over unity.

1/ So Donald Trump is threatening to unleash state violence (cops, military) and extrajudicial violence (bikers) against his political opponents.
Cool Republic we had. Shame about the new ownership.
2/ Jefferson seems apropos:
"Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny."
3/ Jefferson, again:
"When once a Republic is corrupted, there is no possibility of remedying any of the growing evils but by removing the corruption and restoring its lost principles; every other correction is either useless or a new evil."
4/ This is such a window into the shallow, vengeful, grotesque mind of Trump. His ball-washing of almost every thug and authoritarian out there is perfectly explicable.
He sees them as role models, not as enemies of the values American can and should represent in the world.
5/ This wasn't some figure of speech, or some verbal tic. This is a man who edges closer by every standard of the Founders to the definition of "tyrant." I wish I was exaggerating.
6/ Madison was too optimistic in Federalist 46, 51.
7/ "I can tell you I have the support of the police, the support of the military, the support of the Bikers for Trump – I have the tough people, but they don’t play it tough — until they go to a certain point, and then it would be very bad, very bad" is going down in history.

Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Just so much unwarranted hate out there. Hating strangers purely because of their religious choices, their skin color or their sexual orientation is so bizarre to me.

Do as I say, or my tough military, police, and biker supporters might go all fascist on your asses.

Cool republic indeed.
I imagine he has a candidate ready to defeat Trump and also to defeat the Dem candidates itching to pack the Court.
And that you're all on board too, yes?
jEb! 2020!

How immune to reality does a republican have to be to whine about "packing the court", while Mitch McConnell is the senate majority leader?[/i]
