Donald Trump opened his latest press conference by delivering an opening statement that went on … and on.

After 30 minutes, CNN cut away.

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer told viewers, “We’re continuing to monitor the former president of the United States. He’s still with his so called opening statement that’s been going on well more than a half an hour, close to 40 minutes already…This has been going on and on.”

As it typically does, CNN went to a fact check with Daniel Dale, who said that many of Trump’s claims have been “debunked before.” He focused on two: One that California allows people to rob stores as long as the thieves take under $950, and the other that mortgage rates are at 10%, when the standard 30-year fixed is at 6.9%. Trump also claimed that “substantially more” than 100% of new jobs went to migrants.
I know what you are thinking (with the obvious exception of Mich, who is just nodding his head in the affirmative), how can it be substantially more than 100%? This was obviously another of trumpty's intellectual discussions, he went to Wharton doncha know, he just knows stuff.
I don't care what your progressive, liberal slant is, "substantially more" than 100% is a lot, no matter how your communist antifa intellectual ass tries to spin it.

trump calls Schumer a Palestinian, in an effort at some sort of twisted dig

i’m sure that’s winning over a lot of pro-Palestinian voters
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I wonder if Trump knows who Schumer is meeting with in Chicago on Wednesday.
I'll give him a hint. It's not Hamas. :?

I like the pictures of congressional womenfolk in swimsuits.

If those are demeaning to women, paint me patriotic!

Of note, I’m not concerned with the message on the swimsuit(s) or any thoughts in the minds of those wearing.

This is a 1:1 response to what lies right below the surface (of these swimsuits).

no judgement, just curious

most everyone likes a good public feel-up now and again

Not as a rule regarding the tattoos, but given the entire package and my fantasy-based intent, the tattoo would not be of true importance.

The Maga suit was more to what I was referencing.

You have to remember, I lived in Colorado for a long time, and although Boebert is an embarrassment to me as a long-time resident of the state, my emotions are placated there with her being on the other side of the range.

the hypocrisy between 2016 and now, with Hillary’s emails and the vance vetting dossier is something else

i’d say it’s unbelievable, but it’s completely believable and really just sad

What's keeping the Iranians from providing them to another source to release, if the places they gave them to already won't reveal the contents? I'm certain there are plenty of venues that would be more than happy to.

Several nights ago he talked about what a beautiful woman Harris is, but...

I heard he talked for almost 2 hours today.

Who can imagine listening to him for 2 hours and coming away believing even more strongly in all the lies and fabrications he spews?

Reminding farmers of his tariffs is not going to end well. That was not popular at all and caused many of them a lot of problems and cost them a lot of money.

After decades of foisting the theory that "Supply Side", "Trickle Down Economics" would raise all boats on Americans as they watched their real wages stagnate, jobs go overseas, and the income gap widen and widen, the current leader of the party, who accumulated more national debt than any other president in 4 years with his $1.9 Trillion dollar tax cut for the already rich, has proven himself unable to grasp something as simple as the effects of levying tariffs on goods the US imports. Yet, whenever polls are taken, republican lies, propaganda, and promises carry the day, and a majority of voters assume they are better at managing the economy. SMFH.
