because the economy and the border and health care and crime and drugs and guns are too complex. so they are gonna talk about toilets instead.
Who is "they"? Did someone mention them in a speech? Because I heard speakers talk about the economy, the border, health care and crime. For all I know, Gutter mentioned them because the United Center has them, I don't know.

It’s called Shirley’s law.

Absolutely. And the sign on the door isn't going to stop sexual assault or inappropriate comments.

It's not a rape/sexual assault thing for me. I have a feeling my daughter wouldn't want to take a shit with boys from her class in the bathroom with her or watching her walk out of the stall. Or sit on a seat boys have been pissing on all day.

Again, we've got a lot bigger fish to fry than this. But, we've also got a lot bigger fish to fry than this....if that makes sense.
and that all makes sense (heck, i wouldn’t want to drop a deuce if there’s a chance that a hottie might be in the room)

when i was in high school we had men’s, women’s AND unisex bathrooms…nobody gave a damn (that i’m aware of)
What’s so hard about a man learning to sit down to pee. I’ve been doing it for years. (Sure a lot easier to clean the toilet.).
my wife makes fun of me for sitting down

Sitting is quieter. If I do my usual pee blast at 3am it's definitely waking up Mrs. 99.

The pee blast ensures any mineralization is ejected. It also creates a pressure wave eventually propelling a butterfly around the world. The sound is melodic concert b-flat. I must stand.

meh

you forget i’m domesticated. i do the cooking and cleaning in my house…sitting on the john is a choice, not a mandate

maybe you like sitting on public johns unnecessarily. me, ill do just about anything i can to keep from shitting in public places. no way i’m sitting to piss (unless it’s out my ass)

somewhat related, i’ve come to really enjoy both shitting and pissing in the woods

Today's edition of WTF!?!?

Walking home from work. This was about two blocks away from where a bunch of Senators are staying.
Gutter - "What's going on"?
Two Nurses - "Not sure but they put a woman in handcuffs (I saw them do it) and they found guns in the tow truck".
Gutter - "Hmm".

About 5 minutes later after the Cops drove off and the Capitol Police walked away....
Gutter - "Excuse me, I don't know if you can tell me what was going on but I'm going to ask you anyways."
Two U.S. Capitol Police - Guy 1 laughs, "They got in to a fight. We just happened to be walking by". Guy 2 laughs - "Something went bad".
Gutter - "I saw them put her in cuffs and someone told me they had guns in the tow truck".
Guy 1 - "Yeah, Cops said they saw them throw something out of the tow truck but it wasn't a gun".
Gutter - "They felt the need to cuff her for something".
Guy 1 - "It was physical".
Gutter - "Hmm". "Ok, thanks. I appreciate and respect what you guys do. Nice having you guys in the neighborhood. I wish you were around all the time. Have a good night".
Guys 1 and 2 - "Thank you".

Someone is going to be screaming about fake polls.
More than 20 million people tuned into the first night of the Democratic National Convention, Nielsen said in a Tuesday press release.

The convention kicked off Monday night in Chicago, where Democratic nominee Kamala Harris made a surprise appearance and President Joe Biden capped the night with a speech celebrating his legacy.

The convention viewership is slightly up with that of the opening night of the 2020 Democratic convention (19.75 million viewers), when in-person events were scaled back or canceled due to the pandemic, according to Nielsen data. But it drew nearly 2 million more viewers than the first night of the 2024 Republican National Convention, Nielsen data shows.

Speaking of Polls... Polls showed Hillary (who was the highlight speaker other than old balls way past his bed time Joey) was leading Donald on August 19th 2016. How did that work out?

Another night of energy and passion at the DNC. Love it. Really cool to give all these unique individuals from each state a moment in the spotlight.
