I know "just look at the other guy" is shopworn, but it is simply fact that Harris has given policy proposals that are orders of magnitude more specific, detailed and practical than her opponent's platform, which reads like a wishlist letter from a troubled child to a Santa who has fallen into very weird corners of the internet.
Spot on! A letter to Santa. I've sought out the Trump/Vance platform, and a vague Christmas wishlist is an excellent description.

The Trumpian policy of I'm not weird, they are weird, crafted in the First Grade, seems to stand the MSM eyetest.

Trump's entire campaign seems to be run by a toddler lately which means he has probably announced that he is in charge of all messaging because he knows how to do it better than the experts.

1. 21 August. Hint: date of the Lawrence Massacre without Spumoni. Chicken Missourians rode through an undefended city guns blazing.

https://www.cnn.com/2024/08/23/politics ... index.html

"In the first half of 2024, federal campaigns and PACs have spent nearly $3.2 million on Trump businesses, more than 80% of which came from Trump’s own campaign and associated groups. The biggest chunk – about $1.9 million – was spent by Trump’s campaign and fundraising committees on a Trump-owned company that operates his jet."

Trump is converting his campaign funds into personal funds by laundering them through his properties. Nothing sketchy at all...

And they are admitting it! The campaign’s response is that the properties are charging “market” rates - that means there’s a margin. Of course the properties could very well charge cost, or even make in-kind donations.

But no! They are openly admitting that they are making margin!

Anyone want to bet me on the election?
Here is my 5 part bet proposal.
1. Who will win the popular vote?
2. Who will win the electoral vote?
3. Will the winner of the popular vote win by more than 2.5% and will the winner of the Electoral College vote win by more than 63 votes?
4. Will the winner be declared (by "congress") by 11:59pm ET Wednesday November 6th?
5. Will the loser concede by 11:59pm ET Wednesday November 6th?
Tie breaker - Who will win Arizona, who will win North Carolina, who will win Pennsylvania, who will win Wisconsin?

In all cases, disregarding fuckery:

1 - Harris, by a mile
2 - Harris, by many lengths
3 - yes; maybe (watching you, NC and FL)
4 - no, that’s not how it works
5 - of course not

Bonus - Harris on all

I remember lots of "play Brady Quinn, he can't be worse than Matt Cassel" calls back in the miserable days of Chiefs fandom.

He was worse.

The alternative to the establishment sucked much worse.
