What about a "bot" team for the 10th spot so B2L can play?

Could just set it to auto draft. Play the highest projected at each spot each week. No trades. Only sign highest projected free agent for a starting need in any given week after waiver period is over, so they don't steal from any live players.

Too much work for the Commissioner. No trades would be a problem.

Maybe not a problem for the bot team but could be a problem for YOU if you wanted to offer a trade to the bot team and can't trade with the bot team.
There 9 other teams in the league in bedsides your's but you can only trade with 8 of them?
There are worse things but I don't think that would be a good thing.

8 teams is also not a good thing, in my experience. No reason to trade when every single team is stacked.

I was just trying to come up with a creative way to get to 10 so B2L isn't left out. Obviously, the best way is to get to 10 human teams.

Besides, an 8 team league should provide laughs for weeks! Didn’t they make an entire sitcom about the lunacy of just such a thing? The real fun would be figuring out who closest represents which characters in that show!

In order to set the draft date, I need to lock down the number of players.
I'll shoot for the draft to be Tuesday August 27th say 7:45 PM ET...but will wait 2 more days to see if jfish and another poster wants to join.

Can we have the draft Wednesday?? I got stuff going on Tuesday Night.
