Keep making that same stupid assumption.
Re: Robert f Kennedy jr
Your worst nightmare would be a Project 2025 future. And don't see it. You support an unhinged party owning the wrong part of the ICD-9 mental pathology spectrum. As a psychology dude.
Re: Robert f Kennedy jr
I never said I support Project 2025. I also never said I support either party.
Between the two candidates, in the system under which we operate, he is easily the better choice. Not even close.
I think we are capable of having better choices. I think the system is broken. I hope we will someday do better.

As a crazy person, I have no problem telling other people that I think/feel/realize/know are crazy - that they are crazy too. Heck, in regards to some of the things you post, I'll tell you that you are a bat shit whacked out lunatic. Hey, join the club amigo!

I think I'm hungry and I feel hungry right now. So are you telling me it's not so?
As far as the membership, as someone in the psych field, I would think/feel ( ) you would realize it's beneficial to admit you have a problem if you care about working to resolve or at least minimize that problem. Have you at least considered you have a problem? I'm asking because I think/feel ( ) you do have a problem and might (hopefully would) benefit from realizing and addressing it.
Hey, that's just my opinion - from a member of the crazy club.

self-adulation tends to get in the way of true self-reflection
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
Re: Robert f Kennedy jr
Meh. My point was that you should reconsider throwing stones in that particular domain, given your rather public struggles on this board in that respect. I'm not interested in disparaging you personally nor am I interested in playing diagnosis games. I was, quite frankly, shocked at the way you came at me yesterday, as you are usually pretty laid back and in control of yourself where personal attacks are concerned.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 10:13 amPoint being: RIGHT! In response to your question, I think we all "have a problem." The only question is to what degree and how much we let it limit our lives. I don't care for the notion of a "crazy club," as it implies labels that make me uncomfortable and really don't accomplish much, aside from establishing how fit or unfit individuals are for a particular position of responsibility or authority.
I am a much different person than I was ten years ago, primarily because I recognized and acknowledged that I "have a problem," and made changes accordingly. I tend to be pretty blunt with respect to my impressions and opinions about potential leaders of this country, and I (reluctantly) unleash my meaner side when people persist in being disrespectful and harassing me. Aside from that, I'm easy to get along with.

You all are so entrenched in your pathological mutual admiration society/echo chamber that you can't/won't see the part you play in it.
