Maybe one who owns/carries a firearm will need liability insurance now?

It doesn't, really, but neither does auto insurance or any other liability insurance that is required when one is involved with or uses an item of potential danger.

Lawsuits have never prompted automobile manufacturers to enact safety measures on cars?

Who knew?

Why are you completely off focus here?

The point being: Why would people think they could successfully sue and win a lawsuit from an auto manufacturer because some silly bozo decided to take a vehicle and run down and purposefully murder pedestrians". Judge would throw that case out of court faster than donuts disappearing from Michael Moores lap!!

As usual your analogy is way off. A more accurate analogy would be a victim suing a car dealer for selling a car to a known drunk driver, who has killed one more person with that car. Or, a car manufacturer willfully refusing to install seat belts or air bags, and actively lobbies legislatures to exempt them from doing so.

So it's ok to advertise guns, but only if you do it in a certain way? So guns as well as cigarettes would still be legal.

i.e. ridiculous lawsuits would be thrown out (like a victim suing a car dealer) and I've never heard of car mfg refusing to install seat belts, even more ridiculous or stupid. WTF are we even arguing about??? Actually I believe you are just trying to yank my chain.

My point was simply that lawsuits effect changes that may otherwise not happen.

But another point is that defending a president day after day who allows an Alex Acosta around him is simply despicable.

One measure of the morality of a nation is how it acts to protect its children?

You have to wonder how many famous or how many infamous people have been prevented from living had they not been aborted.

People, as opposed to fetuses, who support the separation of children, as opposed to fetuses, from their parents with no thought, let alone an actual "plan", for how they're going to reunite them, should resist the urge to lecture others about "morality" and protecting children, lest they look like ignorant fools.

Men who every day defend a president that talks about having sex with his daughter have no sense of morality whatsoever.

Court Orders Administration To Identify Separated Migrant Children Within 6 Months

Until the Trump administration changed its practice last year, the government had quietly separated thousands of children from parents trying to cross into the country at the southern border — in the process, sometimes losing track of where exactly those children went, and to whom they belong.

On Thursday a federal judge gave the administration six months to figure it out...
