awesome
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I like that song, and the cadence of this version suits that video nicely.

I’m hyped up for the Missouri Jayhawks!

Phuck yeah!

KU with 3 on CBS’ top 150…not too shabby

52. Kansas RB Devin Neal
Neal is a silky-smooth back who excels in Kansas's wide variety of ways to create space. Neal is the total package of speed, quickness, and power and has excellent vision. When he sticks his foot in the ground, he'll make you look silly. A future NFL stud.

66. Kansas QB Jalon Daniels
Daniels has been a part of KU's climb to respectability under coach Lance Leipold. A breakout season in 2022 earned him preseason all-conference honors, but most of 2023 was ruined by a back injury. The dual-threat playmaker rebuffed portal poachers and is ready to remind everybody he's among the best in the business.

139. Kansas CT Cobee Bryant
Physical corner on the backend who had seven interceptions for the Jayhawks last season. Bryant is one of the best corners in the Big 12 and has the ability to have his name called early in the 2025 NFL Draft if he can continue to build off his success last year.

Who doesn't like hype videos?

I'm excited for season, despite how often I might (have already) BITCH about playing in Missouri.

I saw some ESPN thing that had us in like the 7th tier of playoff contenders:

https://www.espn.com/college-football/i ... tiers-2024

This is silly.

It feels to me like people can’t pick a lane. If you want to ding us for what will sadly, likely keep us down - that’s fine. But you’d better fucking mention it. Because with Daniels we’re not any worse than fringe playoff.

I think with a healthy Daniels our floor is 9 regular season wins.
Our ceiling is a B12 title.

I think that sells the ceiling short, unless you would consider a playoff game win to be less “high” than the conference title. To me, a playoff game win means we won the conference.

Although, one thing that isn’t really discussed about the playoff is that it might actually be favorable to the big dogs. Yes, they have to win an extra game, BUT they also get the opportunity to drop regular season games and still be in it (where they can bring their massive talent advantages to bear).

That sounds like what KU basketball was doing last year by remaining in top 5 all season. Except, of course, we didn’t really have a massive talent advantage…just a reputation for such.

The ceiling is Big12 title and ticket into the playoffs.

So whoever wins Big12 is in. And they get a bye. And most likely a 4 seed. And a match up with the 5/12 game. Now comes the problem. That 5 seed could be ranked #2 but #1 won their conference so they fall to number 5. So just look at last year #5 in this years playoff would be Georgia.

LOL we now not looking at ceiling or floor we looking for exits,,,,LOL

My goal is seeing KU play in the Rose Bowl on January 1st. I highly doubt KU will appease me in that regard but I am still going to hope for the best.

My Lindenwood +49 won me a new house. That's a bad joke.
I'm wondering what it bought the KU players and coaching staff. That's also a bad joke. I hope. :? :D

I teased KU down to 42.5 because I’m a good fan.

Part of me wishes they'd have let Jalen try to go nuts yesterday with 4 or 5 TDs and 400 or 500 yards total offense so that'd he would have gotten into the Heisman convo early on.

With the weapons he has, he will go off against better competition. If he is who we know he is he will be in that convo.

I was glad they held him out of the second half for two reasons: 1) there's always the chance of a cheap shot that ends his season against a nobody program, and 2) the less film there is for other teams to scout, the better. I am SO tired of losing to KSUck year in and year out. It would be epic to curb stomp them at their house this season.
Imagine a life so devoid of accomplishments that you feel the need to lie about working at McDonald’s.
