The stupidity of not challenging the 8th and 9th hitter. Is it Fermin?

Fortunately the Red Sox have also shat the bed.

We still have time to recover but we are reeling.

Plenty of games left for Royals to lose the 3rd wildcard spot, especially given the remaining schedule.

I’m not overly worried about the 3rd WC. I’m bummed about the potential lost opportunity to get home games, which would have had so many benefits.

Wearing my 2014 'Believe' Royals script shirt. Have not worn it since 2015. Plus my Converse Allstars. Luckiest stuff as I have left to break the streak.

Q should have left Melendez in. Need gloves with a lead. But the communication errors are frustrating. Again, need some coaches.

Erceg threw a bunch of pitches yesterday. This is a Q gamble.

Even 1 out of 3 @ the Yankees would work.
2 of 3 would be huge.
And, another storyline here, is MVP leader Judge vs behind his heels Bobby Witt.

As of right now there’s a lot of distance. But a Royals sweep with a monster Bob Jr series - like 6-13 with 2 HR and 6RBI - might change the narrative.

I think the Yankees broke out of their scoring slump.
