Routh was a republican Vivec supporter. Conspircicy hole guy. Mentally ill, was able to buy an AK-47. Motivation and real actions unknown. Opportune exploitation by MAGA is clear.

Just sad and scary. There are way more people all around all of us who are really struggling with their mental health than I think any of us notice and are aware of.

Times are stressful and chaotic right now and there are a lot of unhinged, irresponsible things being pumped through the system. The people who are struggling the most are going to be the first pipes in the system to burst under the increased pressure.

Come on. Even if it was "a non-public event, it's not hard to learn/know where the man is.
Once someone learns/knows where he is at - it's Sunday. Doesn't take a genius to realize there is a good chance the guy might play golf at his club on a Sunday.
Or.... "Deep State" tipped him. :?
he wasn’t at his club
Really? You willing to bet me your $1000 to my $100 on that?
nope

my mistake
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

It was an understandable mistake. I read multiple reports and some weren't very clear about it.

These two things can be (and are) true at the same time: (1) political violence against any person for any reason is wrong, and (2) no person bears more responsibility for turning up the temperature in our politics than does Donald Trump.

#1 means that #2 isn’t a justification for violence.

#2 means that Trump and his followers have a VERY narrow lane for grievance here.

(To say nothing of course for Trump’s party being downright horny for creating conditions conducive to gun violence.)

Not that anyone is paying attention, but it’s an illustration of basic math: inject this much crazy, and this many guns, and you’re going to have a “shocking” number of edge cases involving crazies and guns!

and no matter what randi says, neither of the shooters are dems (or pubs)…but they seem absolutely to have one important commonality - gun obsession

1. Is 100 % accurate
2. Is 0% accurate.

Look at the way they've gone after him since the very beginning. Trump wasn't then source of turning things up on this country. If anything you could say both sides escalated it some. But trump is the one that's been targeted for assassination twice now. Blaming him is ignorant

Here's a video of kamala harris joking about killing trump back in 2018. You can't find this violent rhetoric all over the place going back years. From politicians, talk show hosts, all of the liberal side of the entertainment and media industry. This isn't new.

Trump is the target of violence. Not the source. Not sure how anyone can try to logical point the blame his way. (It's not logical, you are just blindly obedient to your "team", who happen to the bad guys in this equation)

That is a HUGE stretch to call that "joking about killing Trump". You (and whoever you copy and paste from) just get more and more ridiculous every day.
