They probably aren't qualified to be moral mentors, but they are certainly qualified to be work ethic mentors. They have absolutely maximized every ounce of talent they possess. Knuckle heads, no doubt. But we have had far more naturally talented/gifted players than them not succeed due to what I perceive as lack of work ethic and focus.

jokes aside, if Self wants them to be part of the program then i’m good with it

more NBA faces on the bench would seem to be a good thing, generally

I thought it went well with the post above about how some people don't reach their potential.

Lulz. As long as he keeps wearing Skechers, I wouldn't pay him $5 to play for me.

76ers have been notoriously bad with the contracts they've given out. Does this mean embiid probably has injuries and they don't get 3 good years out of him?

(I do think his play has warranted the supermax extension making him one of the highest paid in the league, and the 3 year window makes sense. Probably all he has left playing at this level, hopefully.)

He may want to wait to see who is elected President first.

Ask Clayton Kershaw and Harry Kane. Injury risk.
I was being somewhat sarcastic but I am leery of a guy with a substantial injury history wearing Skechers.
