Sure, but the duration of relevant-adjacency has been way shorter than the duration of irrelevance. Perhaps it’s actually a long-term memory of those stretches which weighs so heavily when perceived opportunity is squandered

Well, KU played the perfect storm of three revenge games in a row. Lost evey one of them. The first and last one represented a coach desperate to keep his job. The team took a knife to a gunfight. LL did not have them prepared. Arguably the QB scramble/draw run beat us in all three games. Borland probably bears the biggest hit for the losses. I have no idea what he was trying to do against WVU. The fakey weather delays need to stop too. Guys who were injured came back with prosthetics. I am gutted by the losses because I wanted our fans to finally have nice things. But the revenge road game stuff really sucked. Everyone makes too much of football.

It is a different feeling to be pissed off after a KU football loose. Little mistakes are killing us.
Defense. Rebounds.

Fair enough. Hadn't thought of it that way.
Please, I implore you to be reasonable...

Yes of course. It mainly allows the QB to see what the defense is trying to do. This makes the RPO work. JD's job is so much harder than say the QB's under OC AK.
