Provide one. She probably said she supports/supported a mandatory buyback of assault weapons but I highly doubt she said she supports a mandatory buyback of all firearms.

Here is her talking about "walking into your home to check on how you go about your affairs" if you own guns and are being safe and responsible. Which is obviously unconstitutional as fuck and an abuse of power

Andddd a clip of her saying we do need to do mandatory buybacks of guns, also unconstitutional as fuck and an abuse of power

You continue to deliberately mislead.

She has historically supported a mandatory buyback of assault rifles, because she supports renewing the assault weapons ban that was passed (with bipartisan support) in 1994.

You may disagree with this as a policy matter.

But as a discussion matter, it is misleading to describe what she supports as something much broader than what she has actually said she supports.

Assault weapons is a bullshit term democrats use to describe guns the caliber of ar15s etc. That was what she was referring to. I'm sure in your mind you think that's OK for her to want to do a buyback of those guns and not pistols or rifles. But if she's willing to start with "assault weapons" and abuse the government's power unconstitutionally, shed be willing to double down on that later and take away more guns

Look around the world throughout human history when governing bodies start disarming citizens, and tell me what follows. These are law abiding responsible gun owners she wants to take guns away from

No part of that is misleading. That's a mandatory buyback of firearms. It's an unconstitutional abuse of power.

If they tried to take all guns away and once, the people would revolt. They think if they can fool enough people into slowly willingly giving up their gun rights, they can avoid that and still eventually seize all guns. It's about control, not safety

One group of guns makes up for about 90 % of all gun violence. That isn't the guns she going for in phase 1. She's going for the "assault rifles" because those are the weapons that best allow people to assemble and defend themselves from tyranny, which is exactly why we have that right. Now we are at a point where tyrannical overreach is trying to strip those rights away, and you are being fearmongered into agreeing with it

This is particularly delicious given that the assault weapons ban was in effect for ten years and (1) was never found unconstitutional, and, besides, (2) VERY FUCKING OBVIOUSLY DID NOT RESULT IN ANYTHING LIKE WHAT YOU SAY WE SHOULD FEAR.

Get a goddamn grip. The world will not end if we take some common sense measures to address our outlying incidence of gun violence.

RIGHT! She was referring to "assault weapons".
RIGHT! in my mind it is OK for her to want to do a buyback of those guns. "Mandatory" buyback? That's a different story but I wouldn't have a big problem with it.
JFC! Do you really think she can/could/will/would "abuse the government's power unconstitutionally"?
At times I think I am delusional and paranoid, but heck, you have me beat by a BIG margin.

Over 700 national security officials endorse Harris for president

Over 700 national security and military officials endorsed Kamala Harris for president Sunday in a letter that said the vice president "defends America's democratic ideals" while former President Trump "endangers" them.

The big picture: The latest boost for Harris' campaign comes days after more than 100 Republican national security leaders endorsed the Democratic presidential nominee for president, including nine staffers who served in the Trump White House...

This isn't what you think it is. Most Americans lost faith in these institutions a long time ago. They see through the corrupt profiteering and political bullshit. That's the only reason a guy like trump has gained so much traction in politics. So having a whole bunch of people from inside a corrupt broken system endorsing kamala, just proves she's not what the American people need. Having putin, dick Cheney, and the IRS endorsing you isn't something to brag about either

These same people say trump is a "threat to democracy" "threat to democracy" "threat to democracy" "threat to democracy"

Turn on any liberal media outlet and you'll hear those same words parroted. "Threat to democracy" "threat to democracy" ... surely it's true? Trump must really be a threat to democracy or we wouldn't hear that exact phrase so often right?

What it really means when the establishment says something is a "threat to democracy", is that its a threat to their corrupt beauracracy

And yet, there was an assault weapons ban for ten years and I’ve got more guns in my safe today than I had then.

Seriously, you gun humpers need to get a goddamn grip. The breathless doomsday hype is small and soft and exhausting.

Thanks, Kamala and Joe! (From seekingalpha)

Oklo finalizes deal with DoE to advance to next phase of Idaho siting

Oklo (NYSE:OKLO) +4.2% pre-market Wednesday after finalizing an agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy granting access to conduct site investigations at its preferred site in Idaho, marking a key step toward the next phase of site preparation and construction.

The site investigations enabled by the Memorandum of Agreement will focus on geotechnical assessments, environmental surveys, and infrastructure planning, the company said.

As the only advanced fission company with a DoE site use permit, along with substantial regulatory progress and a secured fuel supply, Oklo (OKLO) said it believes it is uniquely positioned to deploy the first commercial advanced fission power plant in the U.S.

So has she changed her mind?? Against something she's supported for a big chunk of her political career. Or is she just being deceitful to trying to lure in votes
