Judges are how we resolve the backlog of cases. The problem with more immigration judges, and the legal process generally, is that the legal process does not satisfy the bloodlust on the right for rounding up, detaining and forcefully punishing people.
And as much as you might think the United States is a shithole, the fact is that things are SO much better here than in most other places that you aren't going to deter people from coming by treating those that do inhumanely; that's how their lives already ARE, so they're going to take their chances.
