Against a bad pitcher, Q has Garcia try to bunt three times. K. Blanco? Steal? Hit and run? No. Slow force play by slow Pham. Sigh. Witt up with two outs. Then Blanco comes and steals and Witt thinks they are going to throw to him. Strikes out on three terrible piches way out of the zone. Double sigh.

I happen to be an Orioles fan but if they had to lose to anyone I'm happy it was the Royals - and I'm sincerely happy for Royals fans.

1984. What a brutal year for me to be a playoff baseball fan. Cubs win game 1 13-0. Then win game 2. Then lost 3 in a row to lose the series.
Royals got swept. Blows my mind that this guy was the villain.
