$700 is the amount of the one-time "Critical Needs Assistance" that you can get from FEMA. It is designed for the quick stuff you need immediately such as gas, water, clothes, etc.... It is not the ONLY money that hurricane victims will eventually get. There are a lot of other FEMA programs and assistance available beyond that but that would ruin dipshits rant.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 8:14 pmrandylahey wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 7:59 pm So kamala is only giving Americans affected by the hurricane 750 bucks...... lol
To those "who truly need it"
Meanwhile this administration has done over 200 billion in aid for democrats
And how much are illegals getting monthly in different states around the country
And people wonder who a guy like trump ended up popular? Because that is what he is running against
Wait wait wait. I'm having trouble keeping up. I have a bunch of questions.
1. What are you talking about when you say, "Kamala is only giving Americans affected by the hurricane 750 bucks?
2. What is "lol" about it?
3. What are you talking about when you say, "Meanwhile this administration has done over 200 billion in aid for democrats"?
4. What does your political affiliation have to do with your receiving hurricane relief money?
5. I don't know, how much are illegals getting? The Jew in me on Rosh Hashana is saying they are getting too much. The Christian in me on Rosh Hashana is saying not enough. Or is it the other way around? This religion, and "offerings", and immigration/migration/illegals/whatever people are wrongly and rightfully labeling them, shit, gets me really confused.
6. What the fuck does "And people wonder who a guy like trump ended up popular?" mean ?
Just a reminder that House Republicans refused to meet the full needs of disaster funding in the stopgap they passed one week ago:
https://www.eenews.net/articles/lawmake ... ap-bill-2/
"But some lawmakers from disaster-prone states — on both sides of the aisle — were aghast this week at the lack of additional dollars for FEMA’s already depleted disaster relief fund and other federal disaster programs. Many of them were incensed that the typically bipartisan priority had fallen victim to partisan squabbles at such a dire time.
Indeed, as the House and Senate’s top four leaders met last weekend to negotiate a deal to keep the government funded, they were forced to acquiesce to the demands of Congress’ most conservative fiscal hawks, whose votes were thought to be pivotal for passage. They quietly stripped the CR of almost all supplemental funding, including for FEMA, according to multiple House appropriators."
So once again, Randy tries to knock Kamala Harris and ends up accidentally drawing attention to the ineptitude and heartlessness of Congressional Republicans. Well done, Randy, you're the best advertisement for Harris so far today!
