The thing for the rubes to consider, culture is not a zero sum game. It expands and changes. Some, like native American cultures survive in spite of genocide and a multi government policy geared towards extinction of the culture. Some run out of gas and end up in the ditch on the side of the raid of history.

It's a powerful human drive to want to save your culture.
But if you understand that there isn't a limit on culture, you should be able to accept that other cultures exist and feel neutral about their celebration. The reasons to fear for your culture is if it is built on false beliefs and brings no spiritual uplift to the participants, or if it gets hijacked by bad faith actors and becomes associated with ugly historical events. If your culture is strong you don't need to worry about "your people" walking away and embracing other cultures, never to return.
Unless you think that celebrating another culture takes away from yours, there is no reason to be triggered.
This is an indigenous artist whose work I love, Gregg Deal. He lives not far from me in the Springs. We own a painting of his. He painted this mural in downtown Colorado Springs, I think he calls it "Take Back The Power", the girl in the image is his daughter. If you are ever in the Springs you should check it out. He uses a lot old punk music lyrics in his work. We have talked about it and we listened to the same music as kids. We both have respect for the work of Ian MacKaye.
It's a song by Wire, but I like the Minor Threat version for Ian's addition of the line "flex your head".

Beautiful mural. What is happening with so many indigenous girls and women going missing is so heartbreaking. People are clearly preying on them and too many white people just simply do not care. And the vast majority of these cases are in rural areas of GOP states where they are surrounding by a high percentage of allegedly "pro lifers".

A more logical explanation might be the rampant human trafficking of Mexican cartels that has been facilitated by Giggles and Brandon's wide open/no accountability border policies. I've never met anyone in the many rural Red State areas I have lived in my lifetime who thought that trafficking was good or even acceptable. No one in this country (legally) wants it. It comes from without and needs to be stopped at the border.
