Ah, the “be thankful we’re not Venezuela” defense.

Solid.

Definitely smarter than some, but never claimed “brightest bulb” status. Venezuela came to mind as it has regularly been on the list of countries with the worst runaway inflation.

Wasn’t it Upton Sinclair who also said something to the effect that all art is essentially propaganda?

Thanks Kamala, and Joe!

From Seeking Alpha:

S&P, Dow scale new record intraday highs on tech boost, strong retail sales and earnings

Wall Street was holding on to gains on Thursday, helped by an advance in technology stocks and a robust retail sales report that bolstered expectations of a soft landing.

The blue-chip Dow (DJI) scaled a new intraday record high at 43,289.76 points, and was last +0.43% at 43,263.68 in afternoon trade. The benchmark S&P 500 (SP500) also hit a fresh intraday all-time peak at 5,878.46 points, and was last +0.37% at 5,863.88. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (COMP:IND) led the three averages, +0.55% at 18,468.90 points...

Not really, but I admit Clinton's line got a quick laugh out of me.
I meant to share the unedited version last night and ask people on here what they felt they were discussing.

It's normal countries such as Canada, UK, Italy, Japan, Germany, France, etc... that I (and charts such as the one above) compare us to.

If you weren't so hell bent on being a smartass you could actually have a normal conversation.

My point is that we are not a “normal” country. We expect and demand more. Brandon and Giggles don’t get that, which is why they’ll be unemployed soon.

All the better comparison then to prove that the US does not have the runaway inflation that you claim it does.

"Venezuela had suffered six-digit hyperinflation for about four years, with the indicator reaching a heady 130,000%, eroding savings and making basic supplies scarce.

But annual inflation fell to around 50% over the last year as the government restricted credit, held the exchange rate steady and curbed public spending."

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/ven ... rcna163210

Yes, that says 130,000% and you're out here comparing them to the US rate of less than 3%. Add this to the list of reasons why it is impossible to take your seriously.

I understand that you have unreasonable expectations that can never be met. It doesn't make them valid. No matter how good things are you will simply pivot to something else to bitch about.

If your party would offer more than a goggling halfwit closet socialist, I’d take a serious look.

We understand your preference for a “goggling” nitwit out in the open fascist.

Well documented here.
