Re: Uncle Joe
a totally serious move
you shoulda seen the trump shit i was trying on yesterday
'At the Shanksville Fire Station, President Joe Biden spoke about the country's bipartisan unity after 9/11 and said we needed to get back to that,' White House spokesperson Andrew Bates posted to X. 'As a gesture, he gave a hat to a Trump supporter who then said that in the same spirit, POTUS should put on his Trump cap.'
'He briefly wore it,' Bates added.
By the time Bates put out his message, Trump's supporters were pushing that the 81-year-old Biden was so 'senile' that he didn't realize what the hat said.
'Attendees tell me Joe Biden appeared totally senile at the event, and he even put a Red TRUMP 2024 hat on while [Harris] was in the room,' wrote Laura Loomer, a conspiracy theorist and top Trump ally. 'One of the attendees asked Biden, "do you even know what your name is?"' she added, parroting an attack on the president Trump made Tuesday night on the debate stage.
The Trump War Room X Account shared video of Biden putting on the hat captioning it: 'Kamala did so bad in last night's debate, Joe Biden just put on a Trump hat.'

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Nice to have a President with a sense of humor.

You do know he is soon to retire…right?
Maybe you should run down to the retirement home and pull chairs out from the elderly as they sit down.
Hilarity! Be sure to tell them how stupid they are until the paramedics arrive.

Janet Yellen warns Trump's proposed tariffs would reignite inflation
Former President Donald Trump's proposed tariffs would reignite inflation and negatively impact the U.S. economy if he were to reclaim the presidency, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen cautioned in a Thursday speech.
Trump is proposing a blanket 10% tariff on all imported goods entering the U.S. from abroad, alongside imposing tariffs of 60% or higher on imports from China. Such broad-based levies would be inflationary, economists have suggested, on the premise that U.S. consumers would pay for them rather than foreign governments.
Although Yellen did not explicitly mention Trump, she outlined the risks associated with "sweeping, untargeted tariffs," including an increase in "prices for American families," as well as stifling business competition, according to remarks prepared for delivery at a Council of Foreign Relations conference.
"Calls for walling America off with high tariffs on friends and competitors alike, or by treating even our closest allies as transactional partners are deeply misguided," Yellen said.
A Wall Street Journal survey showed a majority of economists think Trump's proposed policies will boost the U.S. government's deficit and increase inflation and interest rates by more than those of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Elsewhere in her remarks, the article said, Yellen underscored how "we need to promote policies, investments and institutions that support global growth, protect financial stability and avoid economic instability."
She touted the U.S.'s "historic economic recovery" from the pandemic era, saying "GDP growth is strong, our unemployment rate is near historic lows, and inflation has declined significantly." Yellen added that productivity growth has been strong, and "more prime-age Americans are participating in our labor force than at any point over the past two decades."

Forgive me, I missed Trump saying that yesterday. Is there video of it? Or, if he posted it on social media, is there somewhere I can see it?twocoach wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2024 8:22 pmToday October 17, 2024, Donald Trump said the following: “I’ll leave the country if I lose to Biden.”randylahey wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2024 9:06 pm Remember when you guys used to argue all day trying to convince us this guy was still with it and fit for office? Re: Uncle Joe
Yep, should have checked that first. I guess I will just have to go pull the dozen other times that Trump has said he was running against Biden instead of Harris or called someone else the wrong name entirely to show that he is a forgetful old man.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 6:46 amForgive me, I missed Trump saying that yesterday. I'm not blaming Uncle Joe but......
$16.97 for a Whopper (single), medium fries, and medium soft drink, at my local Burger King. Seriously.
Go ahead and try to convince me that's not just plain fucked up.

The same order is $10.69 at the Burger King near me. Enjoy your 60% markup for the privilege of living in Chicago.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 11:26 am I'm not blaming Uncle Joe but......

I'm seeing it's $11.39 (including tax) many other places in the city.
Moral of the story is...... Get on my bike and ride my fat lazy ass about 4 or 5 miles and save myself 5 and half bucks or walk my fat lazy ass about a mile and pay 5 and half bucks more than I should.
THAT is what MY America is all about. Freedom of choice/s! And the ability to poison myself with an abundance of fast food options.

Hopefully I won't be a crime victim at some point of my ride. Which thanks to....... Nevermind.
