NCAA 2024/2025
Not happy to start this thread in the manner I am but I saw Maluach put up 7 points and 3 rebounds in 12 minutes against the best in the world today. Good for him. I guess.
I am hesitant to ask this on a KU board but does Dook have one of the best if not the best recruiting class of all time? Flagg, Maluach, Knueppel, and Evans, DAMN! They all have legit potential to be first round picks in 2025.

New President - New Gutter. I am going to pledge my allegiance to Donald J. Trump and for the next 4 years I am going to be an even bigger asshole than I already am.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Yes. Their recruiting class is insane. Scheyer took over at the perfect time, where NIL can assist him in any recruiting uncertainty players had with him replacing K. I also liked their succession plan of having him on staff for several years before the transition.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 6:42 pm Not happy to start this thread in the manner I am but I saw Maluach put up 7 points and 3 rebounds in 12 minutes against the best in the world today. Flagg is unreal. They are going to be an exciting team to watch this year (and cheer against).
Re: NCAA 2024/2025
Flagg went from possibly being my favorite recruit of the NIL era to easily the most hated.
Kid from Maine picks Duke over Kansas.
The worst part? Our local news will be showing bi-weekly clips from his games.

PDub spends all his disposable income running this site. We can't expect him to also recruit his geographical area.
Re: NCAA 2024/2025
well the silver lining to that worst part is, at least the weekly clips from his games are bi.
I bet pdub enjoys a little girl-on-girl during the local news broadcast.

Looks like it belongs in a food court...like, in a mall.

Re: NCAA 2024/2025
I like ads on everything. It theoretically reduces the cost of things for the consumers (except for those that buy the advertised products).
Re: NCAA 2024/2025
I don't think those cost "savings" are passed on to the consumer in a meaningful manner. I think they are initially and then the price creeps back to where it was but.....with ads.
Fuck ads, fuck ads, fuck ads. I would like to go somewhere, watch something, read something, drive somewhere..do....anything...without someone trying to sell me something. if I need it, I will seek it out, I don't need it shoved into my face.
