With some minor good news though - Pacheco is ramping things up and was jogging on a treadmill.
There were whispers he'd be out all season and now it's looking like he'll be closer ( i'd say to the end ) of his 8 week timeline.

Which is good, because running is about the only thing that works at the moment.

Wonder how Brown’s scans are looking. In any case I think moving on Kupp, Johnson or Hopkins is pretty important.

I could be wrong but I just don't see the Rams trading Stafford's bestie Kupp -- at least not for something just way too much ( draft pick wise ).

Diontae and Hopkins I think would make sense.
Christian Kirk has also been swirling.

Kupp has missed 16 of their last 30 games. I think he should be avoided like the plague.

If there is anyone to bet on to pull a rabbit out of a hat, my money is on Brett Veatch. That guy always finds someone who comes up big later.

Also, regarding Kupp, he has quite a bit left on that contract. We wouldn’t want to have to have to pay that.

Just saw that notification as well, gutter. If this happens, he (and JuJu) both get fully healthy, and Pacheco returns at close to 100%, this offense looks pretty good. Now if we can just stop having Mahomes throw it to the other team 2x a game, that'd be great.

Hopkins our x.
Juju slot.
With Worthy.

That’s not as good as Hollywood, Rice and Worthy but it’s better than last year.

Please don’t be a 4th.

Sounds like they are working on it. I hope it gets finalized and it happens as KC could really use another skilled body at WR with only 3 serviceable WRs right now. No, I am not counting Skyy Moore, who is so bad that he can't get any targets despite being 1 of just 4 healthy WRs on a Mahomes offense.

"The Titans would receive a conditional fourth-round pick in a trade that is expected to be completed Wednesday, sources said."

Those conditions better be mighty high then for a 1/2 year rental.
Guy had a busted MCL to start this season so I'm guessing the conditions would imply total games played.

I mean, at this point, don't we probably WANT it to be a fourth?

(Yes, I know that's not quite what you meant.)

If the conditions are significant, absolutely.
If it's play 50% of available snaps, then meh.
If it's gain 750 yards in the regular season, then yep.

I get it. I'd rather pay a 4th for >50% of snaps than a 5th for fewer, though, is my point.

This might not be the 'perfect' fit ( a healthy Cooper Kupp with Mahomes would have wrecked the NFL ) but it is a breath of fresh air when you look at what Hopkins is best known for:

His hands.

I'm so very tired of the drops.

I bet both Andy and Mahomes thought the same thing when Skyy Moore dropped another ball thrown right at him last Sunday, "we gotta get someone".

honestly, with Mahomie and other reliable targets on the field, that’s all he really needs
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Kupp hasn't been healthy since 2021. I think he has had 5 ankle injuries since then.

Why I said a healthy Cooper Kupp.
Let's hope Hopkin's MCL issue to start the season is in the past.
