You can make an argument for either. But I think it is being done because the real polls have her leading so they can prop this nonsense Polymarket poll as an example of their "we only lost because it's rigged" argument.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2024 6:55 am You guys are smarter than me. Re: 2024
Agreed. Maybe it depresses turnout knowing they have such a lead. Maybe it motivates those with a "more, more, more!" attitude. But I honestly think it is just being done to seek "look what I did for you" favor with Trump to win attention and praise to get an audience to eventually seek an expected reward.

You're constantly trying to impress. It's obvious and obnoxious. I'm also not surprised that you can't see it.Overlander wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 10:25 pmNever made an attempt to impress anyone. Although I have clearly made quite the impression on you.

I agree that it is absurd, and I've tried to refrain. Some people I've just determined to ignore; others, however, have proven to be so egregious that I refuse to let them slide. It's ridiculously simple: leave me alone, and I leave you alone; address me respectfully and I will extend the same courtesy.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2024 6:16 am Overlander and JK being assholes to each other. The not funny thing is that while I admit it makes me roll my eyes and is semi annoying, I admit I do laugh at some absurd unaware things they post about themself and each other.

The only thing that bothers me about you is that you are, at your core, a bully. You expect - even demand - to be able to treat others cruelly and contemptuously and not get the same in return. I refuse to stand by and act like that is okay.Overlander wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 10:24 pmMaybe a bunch of us chose better careers…better partners… better investments.JKLivin wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 10:17 pmFunny, but the only people I know of who keep saying that are the same ones who keep insisting that we’re doing great economically now and that having 10 million + illegals running around is actually good for our nation. That pretty much tells me all I need to know.TDub wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 9:33 pm
I'm not sure how we live on the same planet, speak the same language, are theoretically both capable of reading and writing.....and you've somehow come to the conclusion you have with any justification.
He did nothing for the economy, that's a myth perpetuated by people who can't read and don't understand economics. How's that wall going....how many Pesos did Mexico chip in?
We don’t have to hate women, brown people, people who have more assets…because we made our own way and left the likes of you in our wake.
It really seems to bother you what I do for a living. It definitely bothers you that I have never had a partner cheat on me. And it definitely bothers you that no matter how superior in intellect that you claim to be… no matter how strong you pretend to be, you project a sad and pathetic image to all here.
Well, except Randy. You are clearly smarter than him.

i can’t think of another instance (not involving trump), where there was the appearance of such things

But - Are there no "real" polls that have Trump leading? I typically try to pay attention to polls but I have lost interest in polls after the Trump/Hillary debacle.

Re: 2024
nationally?
i haven’t seen one
one might claim Rasmussen, but i hardly consider that poll unbiased
edit: fwiw… https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/pollster-ratings/
but even if the national polls were “right”, that hardly matters (much like the eventual popular vote). swing state polling, and results unfortunately, are all that matters

Who knows, I dont find them to be relevant. Re: 2024
I met my MO State Rep today. She knocked on my door and introduced herself, Rep. Jamie Johnson. We talked for about 15 minutes and I told her we voted for her in the 2020 election and would again this year.
It wasn't until I shut the door that I remembered the 2020 race. She was running against an R ultra-MAGA jackass who I know well. We figured he would win in a red county in a red state. But the Dem black woman who had never run for office before, won in a 90% white, red voting county. Hopefully she pulls off the upset again.

Just as Steve Bannon planned. The Trump campaign pumped tons of money into the Jill Stein campaign to get that result.twocoach wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2024 2:52 pm 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
