What makes you think that?

Not disagreeing. Just wondering if you've been watching a bunch of Raptors preseason games or something.

He's going to have the opportunity to get significant minutes in his second year, that's for sure.
The bummer part of all this is, while they could both play on the court at the same time certainly, just how minutes rotate you'll have Ochai fighting for some of Dick's minutes.

and also cuz he's got legit size, solid feel for the game, decent athleticism, and that sexy ass J...

and also just at that age and point in his career a breakout could happen: got a year under his belt, still young and just getting his adult body, and that sexy ass J...

By breakout season, do you mean more than say, 12 PPG, because that's a number I could reasonably see him finishing at this year.

yeah, 12ppg would prob be just good solid progress.

Breakout would prob have to be more.

I'm also cognizant of the idea that an off-the-ball spot-up shooter might be more of a career system guy than a star.

But who knows, maybe he could be a star!

Yes. Curious to see how that positional battle plays out.

I'm watching this one on league pass since the espn game isn't very interesting without Embiid.

Gradey looking good offensively. Gradey looking bad defensively. He is definitely going to get to chuck some shots for Toronto this year because they are going to suck.

Toronto getting absolutely smoked by Cleveland.

Jalen Wilson with a big game last night off the bench for Brooklyn. Glad to see him sticking around and getting some legit rotation minutes in a close game.

Gradey also scored some points last night. Och played a lot, but didn't score much. More of a defender and rebounder than Gradey, but they both got the start.
