A dozen failed businesses doesn’t make me think of him as a business success. The bulk of his “success” being a reality TV star.
Do you not notice that, while bragging that he doesn’t need a teleprompter…is literally reading that OFF of a teleprompter?
I will agree that Trump (more credit to Steve Bannon than Trump), did tap into the things that “ Joe Lunch Box” considered the biggest obstructions to them living the lives that their parents did. They found what JLB felt was holding him back (jobs going overseas, NAFTA, etc) and demonized the folks that
were easiest to demonize (Mexicans, politicians) for political talking points.
It was a powerful and well run campaign.
It certainly didn’t hurt that Hillary epitomized EVERYTHING that the Trump supporters felt was driving that train.
The question that I pose is, what did Trump actually DO to help those folks? What tangible (not emotional) calling card was left to say the Trump made his mark on making the US a better place for those folks that he made so many promises to?
Please don’t say securing the border, he didn’t.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Help me out. What do you feel makes them more successful than "anyone" on here?
I'm asking for "dum" Kamala Harris' sake more than mine.

I would seriously argue that you (fish) are more "successful" than at least one of the individuals JK listed.

HOLY FRICKING POOP!
Time for me to step away from the politics bored for a while. May check back later today.

You see what you want him to be. I see what he did for every day Americans and what he says he will do, which is not much. His tariffs and tax plan do not do what he claims and if you're honest, you'd agree.JKLivin wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 9:56 pmWhat you and your ilk see as disgusting, many of us see as standing up for Americans. Harris is behaving like a professional applying for an important job. She behaves like someone who will take that job more seriously than Trump has taken the last 4 years of his life. Trump is more disgusting now than when he left office. Starting to be held accountable for his illegal behavior has made him a dirtier fighter.
Trump is only going to get more over the top in the next two weeks. He is going to be really disgusting, mark my words.

Yup, all people who are either scumbags or looking to benefit from Trump thanks to tax breaks and cushy job appointments.

It will force companies to build their factories here and employ Americans, which will, in turn, lead to prosperity and job security for Americans. Will it happen overnight? No. But it will be a damn sight better than throwing open the gates and turning us into the world’s garbage dump, as Brandon and Giggles have tried to do.twocoach wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 8:40 amYou see what you want him to be. Re: 2024
No it won't. People will continue to have to buy what they need and companies will continue to pass the added cost down to us. They don't want to incur the huge expense of rebuilding their entire supply line and if they do, that will result in them pushing that huge expense down to us as well.JKLivin wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 8:43 amIt will force companies to build their factories here and employ Americans, which will, in turn, lead to prosperity and job security for Americans. Sorry, but I will listen to the dozens of award winning economists who have reviewed both sets of plans and come to the conclusion that Trump's policies will cost us more, not save us money.
Since you're so impressed by accomplished people such as Joe Rogan and Mel Gibson, I would expect that you'll respect the analysis of the most accomplished economists. But alas, you only seem to recognize people's talents and knowledge if they also remove their spine and pledge fealty to Trump.

I don't even know where to begin.
I assume you are being facetious with your question. I truly hope you are.
Regardless, I am fully confident there are people on this site who are more "financially successful" than Tulsi Gabbard. Possibly myself included.

You absolutely did say you are more successful that anyone on here!
YOUR exact words were......
"Yup, me, Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, RFK, Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Alex Jones, Mel Gibson, Tim Pool . . . visually impaired and loosers, every one."
Followed by....
"All more successful individuals than anyone here".
So what part of "me" isn't/wasn't you?

I was saying that we all have similar viewpoints. Was not implying that my success was on par with theirs. Well, the working premise, as I understood it, was that only loosers support Trump.
