Well, the working premise, as I understood it, was that only loosers support Trump.
So material financial success means someone can’t be a loser?

Trump attracts losers. If the world monetary system and climate collapses because of his innate incompetence, pretty hard to define that as winning. He is bankrupting his 7th business with Russian money propping him up.

You are confusing “losers” with “dipshits”.

Overlander, you are a scholar of the lexicon. One can be a loser without being a dipshit; being both guarantees a bad outcome. I defer. . .

Well then like with everything else, you unsterstood incorrectly. The country is full of financially wealthy individuals who want big tax breaks from Trump, people who used to be famous who want a career bump from endorsing Trump or failed politicians who want to ride the coattails of Trump since they weren't good enough to get elected themselves.

None of them are endorsing Trump because they believe his policies will help every day Americans. Every single person on your list is doing it solely for themselves, a negative trait all too common amongst MAGA supporters

If you want to believe that they all have nothing but altruistic intent, go for it. There is nothing to support that other than that you need it to be true to fit your argument but that's a leap of logic you already make every day so it's certainly easy enough.

I’m not arguing altruism. We vote for people we believe have our best interest at heart. More money, a better economy, and a controlled border are good for most Americans.

Financial success sounds a lot like being a winner to me.

To use a frame a Trump supporter is likely familiar with, I like people who weren’t nepo-baby, government handout fraudsters.

And there is ample analysis out there that show that Trump is not the candidate of these two that will provide you more money or a better economy. You're just making shit up to justify voting for him.

Giggles has straight up said she wouldn’t do anything different than the Dumpster fire she took part in the past four years. She’s openly advocates giving free stuff to people who come here illegally. She’s flip flopped on energy policy so many times that it’s clear she doesn’t know what she really thinks.

Trump oversaw a great economy, excellent border policy, and solid foreign relations. I’ll go with that any day.

They didn’t last time. You all keep telling me things are great, but I just can’t see it; under Trump, I could see things were great, while you all kept telling me I wasn’t seeing correctly. I’ll go with what I see, thanks.

Harris has said no such thing and you know it, liar.

Trump allowed more illegal border crossings by the game he left office than is happening today.

I have a substantial amount of money in a 401k. I have a substantial amount of money that I have "inherited".
Take it from a loser (me), financial success does not equate to being a winner. At all.

I look at a guy with 1/4 as much money as I have, who unlike me, has a wife and a kids, owns a home, is a college graduate, has a crap load of friends he hangs out with multiple times a month, really enjoys what he does for a living, is in great health, and throughly enjoys his life - and he's a much bigger winner than I am. At least he is in my eyes/mind/heart.

It’s like you live in a weird alternate universe and pop in periodically to call me a liar. Shrug.

Because our economy never functioned before we imported borders of low-wage illegal workers. Lulz.
